oil filled rc shocks usually start from 60mm full extended eye to eye for 1/10 scale smaller than that its probably not oil filled and you wont be able to put different weight oil

I prefer Zoom for most planes as its more useful in combat to spot stuff. but leaning is a much cooler effect and give you more immersion.

I`m having a problem believing they will put any effort into this, like you said - the solution is a Trackir or equivalent device. its like asking for a better control scheme for people who fly with Keyboard and Mouse.

nothing to do with respect , the MIG is fresh and probably sales well , also its LN`s only product and they cant go and sale it for 70% ED has lots of modules, and most people when they see 70% will buy everything from the store , even if they don't plane to use it.

Plenty of bossiness reasons to do that, i`m not into marketing but at the very least , if ED sell all their modules always at very cheap price , there will be no possibility for 3rd party developers to put out full (30-50$) price on their modules , not when you see normal price of 10-15$ for for DCS level aircraft from ED.

HD5730 is on the weak side , but you might be able to get away with low settings. you can download the free base DCS World and see how it works for you (you get free SU25T and TF-51 )

Man... when i see that there is a new email from 'TFC/ED' i instantly expect a nice newsletter with EDGE updates, but alas - its another flash sale...

Generally speaking , ejection isn't a guarantee to walk away from a crash. You could die or get hurt from so many thing in the process.

The cockpit hasn't changed since it was updated to 3D 6DOF (except adding a pilot body) the update (mostly) give the SU27 a much more realistic flight model , meaning it behaves alot like the real thing. they also change some systems (like having to power on the A/C , and redid the HDD)

If you change your load-out while in-game , you need to re-load DSMS page. the fastest way to do this is to hold one of the lower OSB buttons on the MFCD , until you get a new page, then press the LOAD button and it will assign the load function into that OSB. then press LOAD and select what to load (LOAD ALL , just DSMS) if you choose LOAD ALL make sure the plane already finished the start-up procces

I would love an update/newsletter on EDGE , anything to keep us going for another month, like status updates, less general release date etc. at least they give us something to discuss on the forum... I`m sure i`m not the only one that opens the forum 5 (hundred?) times a day to check if there's anything new...

Technically its not ED`s fault its like this, it is a design decision by Thrustmasters (or even a DX limitation perhaps) . But - I think it would be in ED`s interest to make specific adjustment for the Warthog seeing as its such a common stick for this Sim , and on the higher end of the spectrum.

VR is much better and Oculus rift`s technology is very mature (head tracking etc... ) but like said , for our use its still not ready , you need much higher resolution than what it has now You cant read gauges well or even read the the HUD properly at the moment, not to mention spotting targets...

From testings i did vs Tor , from 15-20K ASL i fired 2 mavs (with force correlate ) almost at the same time (as much as possible anyway...) and it was enough to take it down , it was verified with repeated attempts i did not change the default experience level of the Tor. also on at least half of the attempts the Tor was not in range to return fire , and only a few of the times it did fire i was hit since i immediately bugged out of the area releasing CM.

What does that mean for EDGE release? will EDGE only be released to coincide with NTTR release?

It was also stated that you will be able to interact with the game world from within the editor .

What level did you set them? i made 40 v 40 F15C vs Su27 yesterday , AI was set to 'Good' (not excellent) and i was barely engaged.

There is an issue with installing a new controller and DCS , it always tries to set the axis for both the throttle and stick the same. What you need to do is clear all control (you have a button that clear the whole column) and set it again. of course i`m assuming your controller is working properly in windows.

Also during flash sales when modules are 70% off you know it will never be cheaper so might as well get them all...

Map looks great , i was sure that NTTR was gonna be some small sandbox to fly around Las Vegas , but it look very big and you can do some real missions there (need to work out how hostiles got so deep inside US airspace though..

Did i understand the newsletter correctly ? it says they are shooting to release NTTR (which is EDGE ) in December ? which MIGHT get delayed due to releasing other modules , but just MIGHT ?
