  1. This, and the lack of rendered and displayed pixels to properly see an object in distance. Proper LoD models only help as much. You can complain about view distance and visibility all you want, but the simple fact is that hardware just isn't there yet.
  2.
  3. When the player count reaches a certain amount for a nation, the AI no longer spawns. And the AI is by no means uber, I think you simply got pounded by human players.
  4. "K-4" landed at Bronholm island in May 1945. Captured and photographed by Danish resistance. The unusual Kurfürst had its right side engine hood and frontal cover taken from a G, the Beule blister clearly visible and the oil cap being lower, ??matching the DB 605A engine the plane was fitted with??. Left side landing gear cover was also missing. Released! Includes: - Versions with and without swastika - Completely remade normal and specular maps - Remade weathering - Texture files are less compressed and higher quality (Minimal to no effect on performance, though higher filesize in return) Installation: #1 Unzip folder to DCSWorld/Bazar/Liveries/Bf-109K-4 #2 In skin folder, choose .lua file from two sub-folders for swastika or clean and copy file to main folder with other files (Default .lua file is for swastika!) #3 In DCS, select "Payload" tab in Mission Planner and select the skin from the Paint Scheme dropmenu below Download: http://www.mediafire.com/download/4p964fy60d4iyss/black1k4.zip Screenshots in spoiler:
  5. Glad you like it! Thanks.
  6. Out!
  7. It might be some action taking place on the map. What do you usually play in terms of layout of vehicles and such? Do you have other games/programs that have similar behavior? I have an i5-4690k overclocked to 4.4Ghz, and in multiplayer Ponies firing drop my framerate to 12-13 FPS for several seconds. Also, when certain flak truck/howitzers are firing, they drop framerate to around 20FPS constant. I'm quite sure the issue is with DCS itself, not your hardware.
  8. With these late-war birds the stencils used range wildly from hand-painted to whatever found on captured soil. It's extremely rare to just have a font to fit the current work. Modifying and drawing your own numbers is often required. Though it can be easier. Check link below for the RAF WW2 fonts/NL prewar font and you should find a good 0, atleast to modify if not fit closely enough. http://www.simmerspaintshop.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=19 1 is easy enough to modify from any Din 1451 font (Also found above)
  9. Damn, that is impressive. Also glad to hear it's not just some working engine found in a swamp made to run.
  10. Not that I know of, most likely won't make one myself, either.
  11. Forum member request. Wreck discovered by Allied troops, "Ingrid" written below the canopy. Released! Includes: - Versions with and without swastika - Completely remade normal and specular maps - Remade weathering - Texture files are less compressed and higher quality (Minimal to no effect on performance, though higher filesize in return) Installation: #1 Unzip folder to DCSWorld/Bazar/Liveries/Bf-109K-4 #2 In skin folder, choose .lua file from two sub-folders for swastika or clean and copy file to main folder with other files (Default .lua file is for swastika!) #3 In DCS, select "Payload" tab in Mission Planner and select the skin from the Paint Scheme dropmenu below Download: http://www.mediafire.com/download/pjeu1vyfrwlu6ae/Ingrid2.zip Screenshots in spoiler:
  12. That's not bad, at all.
  13. Thank you! Although "complete online name" wasn't login name as I expected, but nickname. So it's not jasate, but JST.
  14. Btw, can you bring back the full minimap in the briefing screen, like it was in the earlier intercept mission? I find it much better than the full kneeboard.
  15. Online name: jasate Bird: Fw 109 Dora Skin: http://www.mediafire.com/download/0wdz10h2978f0qm/White16ACG.zip Number: White 16, but the skin already has it so it doesn't need to be added separately Thank you!
  16. Do I qualify for a skin?
  17. Source? According to Wikipedia, Me 262 flew and entered service before the Meteor.

Forum member request. Werknummer likely 333878, very speculative scheme. Includes: - Completely remade normal and specular maps - Remade weathering - Texture files are less compressed and higher quality (Minimal to no effect on performance, though higher filesize in return) Installation: #1 Unzip folder to DCSWorld/Bazar/Liveries/Bf-109K-4 #3 In DCS, select "Payload" tab in Mission Planner and select the skin from the Paint Scheme dropmenu below Download: http://www.mediafire.com/download/jwr54hhyf10rr5h/ANR.zip Screenshots in spoiler:
  22. 262 has already been confirmed. This plane was also the most important reason I backed the project during Kickstarter. Don't forget R4M rockets!
  23. Better late than never, I'll work on this.
  24. Thanks. Don't know anything about the fate of this one, though.
