  1. It's the same with Luftwaffe planes, visual and audial fidelity seems to be a very low priority to ED. But I can also understand the most likely reason for "it'll do", time. No doubt DCS can ride simply on their superior flight models to sell, but I hopefully they won't ignore visual and audial factors out of indifference.
  2. How I feel about it is irrelevant, only thing that matters is that it's simulated as accurately as possible. With that said, my flight setup is inadequate to handle the K-4 altogether. Dora is far more suitable for just a 16000M.
  3. Much appreciated, thank you!
  4. Time for AG Weserflug-built Doras to have some attention. Destroyed Dora belonging to JG 2 found at Rommelhausen/Stockheim in May, 1945. Released! Includes: - Versions with and without swastika - Completely remade normal and specular maps - Remade weathering - Texture files are less compressed and higher quality (Minimal to no effect on performance, though higher filesize in return) Installation: #1 Unzip folder to Your DCS installation folder/Bazar/Liveries/FW-190D9 #2 In skin folder, choose .lua file from two sub-folders for swastika or clean and copy file to main folder with other files (Default .lua file is for swastika!) #3 In DCS, select "Payload" tab in Mission Planner and select the skin from the Paint Scheme dropmenu below Download: http://www.mediafire.com/download/w5q3zrc0memfwum/Yellow117JG2_updated.7z Screenshots in spoiler:
  5. Last but definitely not least, "Blue 12"
  6. "Blue 9" is out!
  7. The prop has an actual spinning animation, rather than some generic blur it switches to when engine is running, like other DCS planes?
  8. "Blue 2" out!
  9. A good thing to keep in mind is that a common altitude for bombers was around 25,000ft and below, above less so, especially 30,000ft and beyond.
  10. Welcome! :)

  16. Thank you.
  17. I don't get it.
  18. I always keep the MW50 injection active in flight, since I'm fairly certain it only works on full throttle (Atleast the boost pressure gauge only reacts at full throttle, the manual doesn't clear this out either.) but don't take my word for it. Either way, it doesn't have any negative impact on engine reliability. Personally, I use full throttle only to catch up or get away, most of the flight is at 1.3 - 1.4 ata
