  1. Thanks! With many of these, the end of the war can truly be seen. And it just makes them all the more fascinating.
  2. Released!

  5. G-14 were still built to a standard with MW50, Erla canopy and the taller tailfin (As all seen in the K-4), even if some retrofitted/later G-6 variant was indistinguishable from one. At the very least it's easier for discussion when someone says "G-14" rather than "late G-6" E: OT over.
  6. ? Mk 108 was designed to sacrifice muzzle velocity for RoF, a conscious compromise made with the technology available. Higher RoF was always more desireable, and not necessarily related to the projectile in any meaningful way. The exact same Mineshell was shared between the Mk 103 and Mk 108, difference being that the former had a longer shell casing to permit the higher muzzle velocity. Keep in mind that Mauser (atleast) was developing 20mm and 30mm revolver cannons before the war ended. Correct me if I am wrong, these designs also heavily inspired US development of the revolver cannon. At 600RPM, the Mk 108 isn't exactly very slow either. Anyway, enough OT rant from me.
  7. I made this exact same thread in December and my opinion has barely changed since. Dora. Always. And it simply comes down to one word; ergonomics. Incredible visibility, easy and enjoyable to use, very forgiving and smooth in flight (Especially with rudder), well armed (Although doesn't matter in DCS currently) and she even looks much better. She is just superior.
  8. Thanks!
  9. I'm glad you like them. Thanks!
  10. Discussion is important, absolutely.
  11. A difficult situation, yes? People want more WW2-oriented development before they find it worthy to invest in it. Meanwhile, devs get no money to support said development because. Of course, this can differ because there simply might not be anything to invest into. No kickstarter, no new modules, but one person has already said he's likely not going to buy upcoming modules. Lost development money. Is the current state very underwhelming and filled with issues like mentioned above? Absolutely. But this is also the time most support is needed. Show ED you really want this. In the end, you have to ask yourself, are you willing to take the risk? I am, for the simple fact that there is nothing else that can do or is offering what DCS can do. So I might come out empty-handed. S*it happens. But are we at the point it's just time to abandon ship? I don't think so, but I cannot chastise anyone for thinking otherwise, either.
  12. Out!

  23. "401392" was one of the Doras surrendered to RAF at Flensburg-Weiche, along with birds such as Götz's D-13 "Yellow 10". Like Götz's "Yellow 10", "Black 5" was transported to the US for evaluation and it also participated in airshows, later most likely scrapped in 1947. Released!
