  1. Thanks for all comments.
  2. I was planning on this, but now that I know there's interest, I'll be doing it very soon:
  3. Thanks. I'm not sure what you mean.
  4. Both videos on first topic.
  5. Latency is on video only http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=135356
  6. 29.12.2014: Modified the folder structure so that JSGME support is now automatic, just add to your _MODS folder and activate. No sound file updates. Since most sound modders are focused on the engine right now, so I decided to spend my day focusing on the hammering monster that by default sounds like your run-of-the-mill machine gun. Modified from the existing 2A72 30mm cannon sounds ingame. Video just showing the new sounds, no comparison to old in it. Latency is on video only! 11. They look different, because they differ. I posted them to show the variation. The DCS model looks just fine to me and I don't really care even if it is slightly too long, just like I don't care if the machineguns are too far apart in the Dora

    Bf 109 K-4 template

Most likely atleast one of them, if the official template is released some day. Thanks for all the comments.
  13. With all this DB 605 whine going on, is anyone going to do the Mk 108? Sounds like a machine gun right now.
  14. Same as any other. Refer, compare and estimate.
  15. Wreck at Kaufbeuren. Bernhard survived the war and went on to become a Generalleutnant in the post-war Luftwaffe. Released! Includes: - Versions with and without swastika - Completely remade normal and specular maps - Remade weathering - Texture files are less compressed and higher quality (Minimal to no effect on performance, though higher filesize in return) Installation: #1 Unzip folder to DCSWorld/Bazar/Liveries/Bf-109K-4 #2 In skin folder, choose .lua file from two sub-folders for swastika or clean and copy file to main folder with other files (Default .lua file is for swastika!) #3 In DCS, select "Payload" tab in Mission Planner and select the skin from the Paint Scheme dropmenu below Download: http://www.mediafire.com/download/bbyl6wyybfxl8x1/bernhard2.zip http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1089381/ Generic version without any personal markings: http://www.mediafire.com/download/rmg5ws570wzv04n/jg53.zip
  16. This is a basic .PSD template I made, fitting for detailed liveries and paint-and-go type of work. Everything (I've remade) is properly organized and marked in their own layers. Only the full surfaces have been made into a template, bombracks, external tank fits and droptanks aren't included, but let me know if you want to see these. Many of these are also handled separately, but can be found as .DDS files at DCSWorld/CoreMods/WWII units/Textures/Bf-109K-4.zip Official template is also out, so import anything you might need over, or just use that one. "Airframe" changes or new features will be updated if necessary. 17.02.2016 New version changes and fixes: - Fixed and improved weathering - Improved Normal/Specular maps - Circular cap above foothold only disabled, not removed - Added layers for plain aluminum bottom wing panels and exposed rivets to accommodate later K-4's - Improved and added some national/technical markings Some features: - Includes templates for main texture, normal and specular maps - Everything is redrawn over the original template in detailed layers - Completely redone weathering - Completely redone normal and specular maps - Completely redone Technical and national markings - Implemented wireframe and shadowing layers and small details folder from official template Changes and fixes to the original texture to make a more realistic K-4: - Mid-fuselage filler cap falsely marked MW50 removed from right side of the fuselage - Fuel, oil and MW50 filler caps size and shape corrected - Oxygen filler cap removed from right side of the fuselage - Handle and foothold removed from right side of the fuselage - Removed rivets from the horizontal stabilizer - Caps near the wing root moved from right wing to left wing - Handle on the left side of the fuselage moved closer to the canopy - Circular cap above foothold disabled, but can be enabled if needed (Present in some K-4's, check your reference) - Radio/First aid hatch moved slighty higher - Lower engine cowling latches removed from the right side - Added third latches to both sides of the top engine cowling Some description.lua info: Report any mistakes or possible feature requests you'd want to see. 17. Thank you. Yes, the flap indicators are left out knowingly, although I can include them if someone really feels they're necessary.
  18. Also added a generic version without any personal or unit markings as per request.
  19. Released!
  20. Again, some mistakes corrected.
  21. I think this doesn't get enough attention. Even the D-9 is much more enjoyable and, in my opinion, easier to do well in than the K simply because of the visibility and ease of situational awareness. And a big f*** you to the headrest/armorplate in the 109! I'm still only going to fly the 109, though
  22. I thought about that, but that piece you can see below the prop blade looks like it has the bulge from the hatch, and has the same beige shade.
  23. Thanks. I was trying to figure out whether it's 74 or 66, since it's way too dark to be just 75. Even the vertical tail looks like it's painted in 66/74 with 70 spots. Lighting can be so deceptive.
  24. Yes, and slighty too exposed rivets. Thanks for all comments, still lot to do, but atleast the template is coming along with it.
