Most definitely. Will be out tomorrow.

Desktop is back in business and I'll start working on this later today.

I feel like the difference comes from the rubbery and wobbly physics in BoS, which I assume are meant to simulate movement of the airframe. BoS is definitely easier on the takeoff/landing, but it's much more simplified anyway. Weird features in BoS also include the strange rudder behavior, any hard use or even attempting a snap roll with send planes (Atleast the 109/190) into an incomprehensible dance. No real-life experience though, just reflect on every other sim I've flown.

What I want to know is, will DCS support DX12? It is especially made to alleviate CPU overhead and allow better CPU utilization.
-
DX11 is coming. This game is severely CPU-bottlenecked, even a quad-core Haswell i5-4690k barely has any advantage over a dual-core Haswell Pentium G3420. This is personal experience. Despite the i5 having huge advantages within the same architecture in every way (Clockspeed, cores, cache etc.), the same extended framedrops to the 7-10fps range happen, and GPU usage is usually around 70-80% on both CPU's. From what I've read here, the engine is based on some ancient game, which makes sense how badly CPU's are put to work. Hopefully DX11 will bring some much needed optimizations. There is no optimization for "AMD machines", only for multiple cores and better CPU utilization.

Can you release that AI b-17 with the 109k-4?
JST replied to nick10's topic in Western Europe 1944-1945
Well I don't know about that, I have turned in on a few Ponies with my D-9. Situational I suppose. As for the P-51 manifold pressure, I have no comment on that, since I have no interest or research in it. And parking on someone's six is by no means effortless in itself (Bad wording on my part), never said so, it all comes down to the situation at hand. Once you get there though, a plane that is more manueverable and has better power/weight ratio is hard to shake. At equal energy a Pony doesn't have much against a 109 giving chase, other than to dive away, right? And this formation/advantage is easier to maintain with a 109 than a 190 of any kind. -

It is slow, but also immensely powerful. Fighters are 95% guaranteed 1 hit kill. There's not really anything to stop you from parking a 109 behind a P-51/P-47. All they can do is dive to escape. Spitfire on the other hand... I imagine there will be some intense dogfights. ...Unless you get the jump on them! -
Adjusting the Fw190 aileron trim tab...
JST replied to Anatoli-Kagari9's topic in DCS: Fw 190 D-9 Dora
Exactly. Elevator only by pilot. -
How hard a time will I have with these planes?
JST replied to kontiuka's topic in DCS: Fw 190 D-9 Dora
People actually use rudder outside takeoff, landing and ground attack? Am I flying wrong? But then again, I have been doing well in a2a anyway. What's next, people actually utilizing the gyro sight? :D :joystick: -
Glad you like it, thanks.

Missed the "c" there, thanks.

Will be atleast two weeks for this to be done. Motherboard died from my desktop and all projects will be on hold until I get a warranty replacement.

One more. Requested by Lizzard, this one's is quite special. The only operational, extremely rare D-13, Franz Götz's "Yellow 10" 836017 was captured at Flensburg-Weiche. Later flown to the US for evaluation and after numerous owners, it currently resides restored at the Flying Heritage Collection in Everett, Washington. Released! Thanks to whoever is responsible for the template, and Maler for sharing it! Excellent information, thank you! I didn't even think of millimeters, since that is an odd way to write it down. Certainly makes the most sense. Know anything about the white text on the last picture? Location seems to suggest similar info. ----- On other markings, did 109's with MG131's have any dedicated air tanks for pressurized air like the earlier models with MG 17's. Being elecritc, it would probably eliminate the need for pressurized air, and I haven't seen any "Pressluft für MG" markings on 109's with MG131's
-
Obviously, but this is clearly found on all 109's starting from atleast the Emil, but I haven't seen the flap info on anything but K's.

Looking for help with K technical markings: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2199862

Been putting together a 109 K stencil for technical/maintenance markings, but besides the usual stuff about tire pressure and such, some markings have bothered me for quite a while. So far I've only seen these on K's and was hoping people here would have knowledge about them. This one, on the edge of the radiator flap, is somewhat clear to interpret, and it says: Klappen-Ausschlag auf 220 m/something begrenzt, which Google roughly translates to "Limited flap deflection to xx" Another pic from what I believe is the same info: Here's something else scribbled on the edge of the radiator flap, perhaps an abbreviation of the same text?
