I didn't know that. I just read an article from some years back stating that the squadron was almost disbanded and the A+s were at 6000 hrs on the air frames. They were hoping to get 9000 hours out of them. :cry:

Good evening ladies and gents. I want to share with you a skin I've been working on. She was just about done, then I found a photo of flap markings so I need to redo them. This one will probably become VFA-204 412. I'm trying to make them as accurate as possible. No easy task with the shortage of needed photos. There always seems to be that angle you need in a pic to be sure you are laying the paint out correctly. Feast your eyes on this sucker! This thing is gorgeous in the sim. :thumbup: I've got three more sister aggressor ships to package up with this one before it is released. Then I'm moving on to the camo line birds. After that, a centennial and several of the old legacy gray schemes. All packs will have a new, used and worn scheme for each bird. I'm going to be a busy guy. Anyone planning on doing VFA-204 might want to hold off. Many more to come UPDATED: 8/3/2018 - All pilot patches have been corrected using authentic patches for the squadron. Aircraft numbers on the flaps for all aircraft have been increased in size. If you downloaded the c.2011 and/or the c.2015 packs before 8/3/2018 you'll need to download them again to get the updates. PACKS ARE NOW AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD. Be sure to grab all three packs. They are not the same. There she is again......C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\d3d11.dll. AS far as the recommended fix? It's going to be a bad day if your GPU ever fails and you need to boot to your onboard GPU. Ain't gonna happen with it disabled.

I have the same error and crashes. As in your log file, C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\d3d11.dll is what is causing my crash. Latest vid drivers were installed before I updated to the latest DCS build. The crashes are guaranteed to occur every session. In fact, it is the reason I leave the game entirely. I've done everything I can on my system to this point. Nothing else to do but wait for ED to fix it.

Nope. Didn't solve the problem. Did as instructed, as I had already done this. Clean and repaired game, metashader2 and fxo folders deleted and the game still crashes. Would love to get you another log file but I cannot. The game if frozen solid. Had to reboot my PC once already. Keep in mind, I didn't have these issues with 2.5.1. Same setup, same settings. There's something wrong in this release. -
Lots of random crashes since 2.5.2 OB was released. Usually happen just after take off. Sometimes I can fly for an hour. Running the latest Nvidia drivers installed clean using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) app. Game is set to run at 4k 4x AA and 16x AF in game. I only use nVidia Inspector to force SLI.

Hi guys, was able to go in and get most of the issues squared away. However, the rearm repair on the F-15 I get a not able to comply from the ground crew. Not sure if that is a bug or what. It was working a few days ago. Can't rearm repair the SU-33. Others appear to be working now as I had the coalitions set wrong on the airbases. My fault entirely on that. Still working on this. Getting Unable to comply now on all aircraft. Throttles are set to idle. brakes on. Cannot rearm. Can refuel though.

Not really. I haven't tracked when and where. All on the PG map though. Pretty much any aircraft I have tried thus far. I have all modules. My problem now is, the game is crashing after 5 minutes in game. I cleaned and repaired. No joy, game is crashing constantly. Hope they get this worked out before the F-18 is released.

Continuous and repeatable. Can't fly the plane on the PG map at all.

It'll slow things down. I have no space on my gaming SSDs to move my user data folder. It would have to go to a mechanical HDD. That causes all kinds of other issues as well. Especially when Windows takes a dump on you.

My problem is I load the skins and the names for them show in the mission editor list. Even the refuel/rearm skin list panel within the mission, but the skins don't change when they are selected. They keep a default skin. Does the same thing in the Model Viewer too. All my other aircraft skins work fine. Scratching my head here. As far as ED attempting to clean out the DCS install and forcing users to load skins in the Saved Game folder. NOT COOL! My C: drive SSD is rather small and the last thing I want as a user is to pile gigs of mods on my C: drive. They should give an option in the game to map and external mods folder, not force it to end-user C: drives. Bad move for the very reason I stated. I hate it when Devs dictate where you park mods. DCS isn't the only one that is doing this. P3D vendors are starting to do it as well. The Aerosoft F-14A X is one that comes to mind. Causes all kinds of problems for modders.

Thanks, Late last night I ripped/replaced my nVidia drivers. That resolved some of the SLI issues. But not the flickering clouds in 2.5.1. I'm going to try your settings in nVidia Inspector and see if at least I can get my v-sync locked at 60.

I've got SLI running, but as above, if I turn on v-sync in the game, my frame rate gets cut more than in half. I go from 129 fps to 49 fps. I'm running my screen at 60hz. This causes tearing and stuttering. So I turned v-sync off in-game and forced it in nVidia Inspector. Problem is, the game is not respecting the forced on in nVidia Inspector. Then, I turned v-sync off and in the game and set the frame rate limit to 60.7 fps in nVidia Inspector, the game does not respect it and runs at 120 fps with stuttering. What the heck? I too am at a loss.

Any hope in the future to have Edwards Air Force Base added to the map? The Mojave Desert is already there and is part of the map as it is today.

I was having issues with duplicate skins with my installed copy of the F-5E. So, I deactivated it, uninstalled it, reinstalled it and reactivated it. It does not show up in the mission editor. Nor does the F-5E folder show up in the CoreMods\Aircraft folder. Funny thing is, the F-5 menu is there and it says it is installed. Not good. Not sure where the files are going after they are unpacking, but it looks like half of them install correctly because I can set the F-5E as a wallpaper in-game. However, the files and aircraft are nowhere to be found in-game, or as mentioned above, in the CoreMods folder. Scratching my head here. The files definitely unpacked and installed, the game sees the module as activated and installed. The files are nowhere. Funny thing is, I was running the F-5 just before I decided to uninstall/reinstall it. Now? No joy! I haven't seen this before in DCS.

170 - 190 ft. is What they are in the sim. About 50 - 70 ft. too tall. -

At this point I'm not quite so sure. I think the models are locked up in sd files. There's no entry in the Caucasus terraincfg.lua for scale of trees. This is looking to be hard set. What I would really like to know is, how is it that I saw what I perceived to be a noticeable change and now nothing? My wife even saw it.
