  2. This happens a lot for me when switching from F10 and back again in MP. I have heard many other players report the same.
  3. Also should point out I am on the Steam version so I never got the 2.5.2.19157 update. Might have been an issue in that version as well.
  4. So after this latest update (2.5.2.19273) I am seeing very high ram usage again. Before we got the memory manager update I was seeing anywhere from 9 to 13+ gigs of usage from the DCS process in task manager. After the update with the memory manager I was amazed to see it as low as 3.5 gigs to about 5 gigs for the DCS process in task manager. Since that update I have been watching my usage like a hawk. Now however after this last update I again am seeing 9 to 13+ gigs. So am I the only one seeing this behavior? My setting have not changed and this is in the same MP server running the same mission I always play on. In fact the mission designer has removed some units to make it run smoother and I still see this increase in memory usage.
  5. However I have seen this behavior in other servers as well. It's as if the helicopter no longer exists after the first hit. In fact if I fire 2 AIM-9Ms at one, after the first impact the second missile turns sharply as if it lost lock. With any other aircraft in the game the second missile will still hit the blown apart and flaming hulk. However with the Gazelle there is nothing left to hit.
  6. It seems as if the Mistral does not count for a +1 on the MP scoreboard. Every time I kill one it seems to vaporize the fuselage and the main rotor goes twirling off. Not sure about the other variants of the Gazelle. Also I'm flying the AV8 and killing them with AIM-9M. Not a big problem but kinda hurts my ego when I check the scoreboard. :lol:

  8. Our UH1 is special and has no stater trigger modeled. Have no idea why they did this. Many things in/on the UH1 are wrong from an art perspective. I hope Belsim revisits this module and fixes these things.
  9. You can also double click middle mouse to do that. Or use right ctrl right shift and the number pad.
  10. That is sad because the Huey is great. But when it comes to the art much of it is wrong or out of scale. Small things mostly but they add up and make my eyes burn lol.

  12. 9 hits, very impressive! I have seen 4 hits without a kill myself. These were Aim9M's though.
  13. When I disable the stabilize mode pitch channel I see no difference vs with it on. I would guess it should work the way pitch does with stabilize off.
  14. I lowered my mouse polling rate to 125 mhz down from 1000 mhz and that fixed the jutter for me. Not sure about Trackir though.

  17. Yes they do. I have bought many mods on Steam that were early access, most recently the Harrier. I understand that 2.5 is an alpha and don't expect it to be bug free. The problem I see is that if your an MP guy most of the MP servers move to the OB/OA right away. This forces all of us MP guys to follow suit. So even though its an OB/OA it might as well be a stable release. Thats what makes this bug game breaking alpha or not. Maybe this is a community problem and not an ED problem, I don't know. Either way if your a Steam user you get the short end of the stick this time.
  18. I have no problem defeating SA11, SA15 or SA6. Below a certain altitude they will no longer track even without the use of chaff. However altitude alone seems to have no effect on radar missiles fired from AC in the sim. You must fly perpendicular to the radar emitter in this case and also be below the emitting radar to be lost in the ground clutter. Flying last night I did have some success notching missiles but it was very hit or miss. Most missed by just a few feet as they flew over my canopy.
  19. I have had this issue when on the RWR page. When I switch to the stores page they will then uncage. Not sure if its just with the RWR page, thats just the page I always have on the left MFCD.
  20. Yeah I always try to notch the missile or radar. I get as low as I can and try to put the RWR signal at the 3 or 9 like you said and pop chaff. So far no luck as I watch the missile track me without deviation. As I said though I play mostly online so maybe its an MP lag issue.
  21. I have really good luck with flares in the A10C. The Harrier on the other hand not so much.

  23. I've been flying the Harrier for a few weeks now, mostly in multiplayer and cannot seem to spoof radar missiles. I know I'm dropping chaff to because I hear the poof sound and see the chaff counter on the RWR page count down. Has anyone had any luck spoofing radar missiles with chaff? I know its early access so maybe its just not implemented yet.
  24. Not sure if its a bug, but when I set my radio compass indicator to ADF the copilots direction needle points 180 degrees in the other direction from where my needle is pointing. Is this how it is supposed to be or is it a bug? Sorry if this has already been posted. I looked around and did not see this issue.
