  1. It might be admin right privilege, try to run both the game and the soft as admin.
  2. This is how I've set mine to make them similar to 8 ways hat. Note the large deadzone asking me to hit the limit to trigger the button, I do that to have a physical feel.. And as this is axes to buttons. Axes tuning and curve are important. In this case deadzone low isn't really important, however deadzone high is. In my case if Dz Hi is too* low I can't have two buttons press in diagonal. Or not consistently enough. Also make sure your curve for the axes are linear.
  3. Oh sorry I hadn't read your previous posts. On the Hotas Discord Cypher and other Virpil users with Warthog Grip advise to remove the two screws so the connector can rotate freely. It also allow to choose grip orientation.
  4. 1. No 2. I started with 50 + 30. Then 50+40, and two days ago I went 50+50. In fact.. What I would like is a more linear cam I think. Because I find too light near center. I only use Cam 10 cause I don't want any detent. 3. It isn't really difficult. Make sure to disconnect the cable before removing the gimbal from the casing. I never pull on the cable, always use two small tool like a screwdriver + an Allen key to pull on each little plastic lip gently. Left right left right.. ${1} The stronger the spring(s) you'll use the harder you'll have to tight the cam bearing, otherwise the cam and the roller wont stay aligned on the whole range. The cam might even touch part of the casing. It was the case on mine before I re tightened it. Changing spring can be complicated.. At least for the 50 that I use. I advise you to wear protection glasses, and to use a tool adapted to the task. Here are two exemple. All other spring are really easy to change compared to the 50. ${1} ${1}
  5. http://alex-oz.strana.de/index.htm See in "software", you'll find a skin folder. Just put it next to your "VkbDevCfg.exe". The skin is I use is "Steam".
  6. I don't know if that can be solve with the Virpil software (I don't have any Virpil yet). But I know you can solve that with Joystick Gremlin. By the way, we can do the same thing to properly match our physical throttle AB detent with any aircraft detent without killing the linearity of the response curve.
  7. Yep that would be nice, just like in Falcon 4 if I remember correctly. I can't do it personally. While we can set the Y value pretty accurately, we can only set those value every ten of the physical range (X). So if the physical detent (X) is at let's say 85%.. We can't do much to make the virtual detent (Y) match the physical detent without killing the linearity.
  8. That is done with the curve setting, however the VKB software don't provide the needed tool for this yet. The only soft I know to make this properly is Joystick Gremlin. We can set the AB point exactly where we want depending on the aircrafts we'll fly, and keep perfect linearity before and after the point. So, because our physical detente doesn't move, we change the height of the AB point depending on the Aircrafts we fly.
  9. On the POV panel, set "always" instead of "On/OFF", and set it as POV. Then on the button panel set a simple button instead of the uStick Switch, on the ministick button.
  10. Hello, how much for Hotas only?
  11. Hello pilot. I own an extension that I bought to Sahaj since.. May be two years now. Recently I discovered and ordered his dust cover and I'm very happy with it, so I though it's time to share my experience. The stick cover FULLY protect my 15cm extended stick. I can not tell if the same cover could fully protect a 20cm extended stick. Nothing to say about the extension itself.. It does the job, I could NOT revert back and use a vanilla Warthog, make no sense to me. I also ordered a stiffer Red Spring to combine with my 15cm extension in order to get back the original centering force we experience with a unextended Warthog. It's a tactile feedback I enjoy, and need. I'll add picture of the protection to this post when the condition to take cool picture will be met. Until then here's the extension in his new home. (Yes.. This was an old socks dust cover ^^)
  12. Hello there. I own a Gametrix Kw-908 since two weeks know and it's work nice with DCS, thanks to Simshaker I guess. However I have a question concerning the sound mod. I have a 5.1 headset connected to the pc with jacks. So the Gametrix use the orange jacks, Center, subwoofer. The "problem?" is that when sounds come from Center the vibrations are only on the left side. And when something come from subwoofer only the right side vibres. I don't want to use the green jacks cause all sound will make vibrations.. Even a little girl voice.. Do you have the same "problem?"? Or is my product broken?

  15. Hello there. I am very interested by your "evenstrain mod" for the Warthog. Mine is 15cm extended. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/xgag6mhagg0wx86/AAACJl_eTHEJmCQKI8Jl4rhCa?dl=0 Will your mod be compatible? Sorry if the answer is already in the topic.. tl,dr :music_whistling: Vkb Glad Pro, this is evenstrain if I understood? Thanks to the dual cam system?
