Are you sure it was on the 2000c. I read it was only available on the 2000D and 2000N.

It does not have its own overheat protection?

KFIR F-21 .Would love to see this aircraft come to life in DCS WORLD.
fixen replied to cubanace's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Razbam allready have several projects in the making/planned (harrier, A-7, F-15E, etc), I think same goes for the other 3rd party developers. They won't just start making a model because you think it is a good idea. There are many people that have dream jets they want in the sim. -
I think it is a good idea for motivating people to play realistically, but when there is a pilot who is sacrificing him self by staying on CAP with not enough fuel to get back for a strike package that is moving in, I feel he should get rewarded aswell. The whole life thing like on the blue flag server is the best option for getting people to return to base I think (limited lives per day). Ofcourse it has to work well; the blue flag server does have some problems with it now.

Twenty-Seven Years of A-10 Warthog Computer Games
fixen replied to EasyEB's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
I think everyone can make their own opinions about that. Never tell people to not see the other side of a opinion. They can make up their own mind when they have seen information from all sides. Also political issues are not part of this forum. I don't know the site or have any opinion about it fyi. -
The F-15 2040C upgrade package makes the F-15C able to carry 16 aim-120's. It gives the F-15C conformal fuel tanks and extra launch rails under them and a lot of upgraded electronics (for example a new radar). But the ingame F-15C is a completely different beast. http://www.ainonline.com/aviation-news/defense/2015-09-22/boeing-proposes-new-life-lethality-f-15c-fighter

I personally find that seeker performance of sarh missiles is not that bad, especially when I compare my stats with real life figures. I think a lot of people fire the missiles in very bad conditions for a shot. That means just within max range, or on a target that is almost flying in a notch, etc. In real life the missiles where usually fired at short(er) range because of IFF. Even then they still missed a lot as showed by statistics displayed earlier in this thread.

Memory leak in latest 1.5 non Beta DCS ?
fixen replied to Ramstein's topic in Release Version Bugs and Problems (Read only)
I believe everyone who has problems, but I don't have any somehow. Solid both online and offline, except for serverside issues and other clients warping because of their high ping, which I do see an increase off. I only have 8GB ram and it is without problems for me. I do have DCS installed on a ssd, the same as my Windows installation. I5 4690k, Asus maximus VII ranger, 8GB corsair vengeance, GTX 970 G1 gaming. -
0 deadzone and curvature on my warthog aswell for all modules, so also the huey and gazelle. I do have a 7.5cm (3 inch) extension though which helps a lot with accurate control.

Multi player server sorting
fixen replied to FlightControl's topic in Release Version Bugs and Problems (Read only)
That is something I would like to see added: - Being able to set a ping limit filter, like max 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, off - Being able to filter servers without people in it - Being able to filter servers that are password protected -
Multi player server sorting
fixen replied to FlightControl's topic in Release Version Bugs and Problems (Read only)
I actually don't really care, it is fine how it is now for me. That is because it is really easy to sort the server list the way you want it and I don't always sort on the same things. Usually I sort the list on player count or otherwise ping. Sometimes even server name If I look for a specific server. -
I don't think it is more complex that the A-10C or F/A-18C ED are making. Just because it is a big aircraft it does not mean it is more complex. Yes there is more modeling work and there are four crew positions, but the systems are not nearly as advanced as that of the A-10C or F/A-18C. Read up on why they choose this aircraft. It is because systems are not nearly as integrated then more modern aircraft and thus less complicated. That does not mean it is easy (especially for a first module), but I think the difference in workload is not that much. Also I think people should stop with the whole, make it more expensive talk. You are a customer, your interest should be getting it as cheap as possible. They are the sellers, there job is to make as much money as possible. There is a balance there that establishes itself. This kind of talking makes it so less and less people will be able to afford modules because someone thinks their standard should be that of everyone else.

Go standalone. You also have automatic updates and get new releases way earlier. The only reason to go for steam might be the overlay and friend function.

I am a bit dissappointed. Expected more. -
I have no idea, but I would find it really weird if that was not an option.
