FSX is real nice. i just don't get around to flying it much. Very nice vid. I was disappointed the see that gelunzuik airport (sorry about the spelling) was not there. (at least, it didn't look like it) Very nice.

I tried that once, and it didn't work so well. I actually crashed. (due to lockon glitch, i went through the deck :() that was attempted on CVN-70. i'll have to try again on the Kuz. ;)

well, Chaff can really throw those things off. was the enemy using countermeasures?

as far as I know there are none that are flyable. I actually sat in one not too long ago, but when we asked the guy there, he said "nope, no more flying" it's sad. But, yes, museums still have them.

How do you kill a ground target with an Eagle? I didn't know that was possible in lockon! :pilotfly:

I had a question. what did you record with (In-game or Fraps) and what editing program did you use. If you did do in-game, what AVI codec did you use? I'm having trouble with the MPEG-4 one with windows movie maker. Thanks

BS in both ways actually. (relating to blackshark, but also really dumb) 1. I was watching the Ka-50 start up procedure, and realized that all the dials and MFD are in Russian. (No duh :doh:) I know this wasn't an issue witht eh previous models, but now, with a click-able pit, I find it would be very important to know what every switch and function did. (especially on the MFD thingie) 2. The second are the tutorials, which I'm sure BS will contain. I assume the Ka-50 will be voice over, but I was wondering about the other aircraft. will they have voice over? i find it easier to see what's going on while listening, rather than reading. Sorry about the dumb questions and if they have been asked before. :doh::(:music_whistling::noexpression::huh:

Saw that... but it had bond music.

The cyclic (stick) is for tilting the helicopter in the direction you want to go. once you reach the speed you want, level out and glide. You also don't use the throttle control to go up and down. Instead, you use the collective to change the pitch of the blades. the more pitch you have, the higher you go. Rudder has also been renammed "anti-torque" but they do still rotate the helicopter, like an aircraft's rudder. In conventional helicopters, this changes the pitch of the tail-roater. in the Ka-50, I'll bet it changes the speed of individual roaters. (don't quote me on it.) Hope this helps. And, I should mention helicopters are a lot harder to fly.
