"Rewards Bronze Backer credit in manuals" Yet this post says we should get the P-51D or Fw 190 D-9 http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2115814&postcount=2 Can somebody please look into this?

I can definitely confirm my sounds are nowhere near as awesome as this. Are the browning machine guns also fixed in the EDGE version?
-
No love for the Voodoo? Without it we wouldn't have had the F-4...
-
I think it has to be the Thud for me too. Mach 2+ top speed and all that ordnance... Although I'd love to see a Super Sabre or a Starfighter as well.
-
I love them all, but if you could only choose one which would it be and why?
-
Yep. I agree the sounds are poor at the moment. The sounds in the EDGE detailed startup video are far, far better though so I think we will definitely see improvement in this area.

DCS:WWII Backer rewards is now under an upgrade
Sabredog replied to taxman1's topic in Western Europe 1944-1945
Why did you buy it 3 times? And why did you jump the gun and buy it again before we had any news about the backers keys? -

Well, can't say I'm surprised. Good news for us backers though. -

That sounds dangerously optimistic Mainstay! I would love to come home to my shiny new FW190D9 though. Let's hope ED can pull it off. -
I said yes bus only after modern aircraft... But on second thoughts, we will have way more vietnam era aircraft in DCS in the next couple of years than modern jets so I'm actually all for it. A Vietnam map would be the most important thing for me though.

Bug: Altimeter pressure window notch missing
Sabredog replied to Sabredog's topic in Bugs and Problems
This image posted in another thread shows the direction of movement. The sleeve seems to rotate at the same rate as the longest hand on the altimeter. It looks like one solid moving piece. -

50 cal Ballistics/Aircraft Damage Model Questions/Concerns
Sabredog replied to USARStarkey's topic in DCS: P-51D Mustang
Yeah, sounds like the .50 cal could definitely use a damage boost against AI. I think the M134 is also a little underpowered. -
Actually if the map has correct coordinates, runways, taxiways, frequencies, moving map (for A-10 and F-18 ) and fully correct real world navigational aids as well as destructible buildings I would pay $50. If it's just an 'empty shell' that price falls drastically.
-
$40 would be the upper limit of what I'd be happy to pay for a map... Any more and I'd be waiting for a sale.

Desperately need help with the Sabre controls.
Sabredog replied to Dudester22's topic in DCS: F-86F Sabre
Yeah, the wheels lock up for me with even the tiniest squeeze and yes, I have got my axis inverted. I think the ground handlng is still very much in beta. -
Bug report with track: Nosewheel showing down and locked when not
Sabredog replied to Sabredog's topic in DCS: F-86F Sabre
I don't think so. If the gear is jammed up, the light should show that it is not down and locked. That's the entire purpose of that light. There would be sufficient failsafe's built into the system to avoid that sort of dangerous fault. If the bulb had failed entirely (not illuminated) that would be a different issue, but the light showing down and locked when it is not should NEVER happen. -
No problem. Frustrated the crap out of me for ages too!

Track IR uses F7 as default to enter precision mode. Change that and you should be able to access the view.

How to fly, fight and have a good time in DCS F-86
Sabredog replied to Maico249th's topic in DCS: F-86F Sabre
In my opinion, curves are ok but a stick extensions are better (less down sides). I fly without either using a TM warthog which is a very accurate stick. It's still extremely sensitive so I will probably get a stick extension eventually but for now I feel that flying without curves keeps my skills that little bit sharper. -
Drifting to the right seems to be a beta issue. Even with the nose-wheel pointing forwards, the jet pulls to the right.

There should be a little notch against which you set the pressure (highlighted by the red arrow) which is currently missing. EDIT: Also, according to the manual the dashed lines at the bottom should only be visible up to 16,000ft and in sim they don't disappear until 19,000ft
