to reproduce : preferably night (dark) mission time. Set the front cockpit to the red ambience light Set the back cockpit to white light. back airspeed indicator is red. reverse the lighting the back air speed indicator is white. Not a big deal but worth mentioning. :)

Ok, thanks. I wasn't sure about that. because the horizontal stabilizer 3D model has an actuator on both trim tabs so I thought it was an oversight.

I have noticed that the left pitch trim tab doesn't move on the external model. To reproduce : trim pitch while in external view (F4 view is great) look at the right and left tabs.

The thing is : if I am here today it is initially because of the DCS flag ship : the A-10C. and as such like many here, I am using the TM HOTAS-Warthog. By now I have come to like other aircraft. But, I don't change of stick for every plane I fly. :joystick: It would be just nice if the TMHW was more easy to use with other aircraft as it is for the A10-C. That's all.:music_whistling:

As Yo-Yo puts it, trimming is the way to go :) This training aircraft is not equipped with autopilot (as most trainers). Students pilots in the pit are not there to take a nap but rather to learn the ropes. Imagine that while the instructor is setting down the hood, the student only had to set the autopilot on the required course / altitude... That wouldn't be very productive... tip : Once you have find your correct cruising speed @ the max continuous % of thrust which is 99.6% RPM.(Eng manual p91) then play with the trim to find the sweet spot that will require the less input from you part.

I just tried it to be sure. @5000m full throttle neutral attitude (horizontal flight) was reaching true air speed of 760km/h easily... mind the 2 needles on the air speed indicator fat one IAS thin one TAS the manual is talking in TAS.

Dear Eagles, Would it be possible to make the HOTAS 3 positions switches work vanilla in DCS ? For it's a pain to bind some controls to 2 or 3 different switches, that would normally go sweet to a 3 positions switch. In that case for the L39, I think of the : flaps & landing gear I might add that I would rather not have to use an external program like TARGET. Also I have noticed that for some planes it already works like a charm : A10-C for obvious reasons... but also the Mig-21 why not make this standard... über alles ? :joystick:

Hi, is the radar altimeter implemented as of yet ? because is difficult to know whether I am below 500 AGL using the barometric altimeter and the ALT SCE switch doesn't seem to do anything... Is it a mission fail if you fly around 500 AGL ? thx

for me the green arrow pointer (GAP) moves if one turns the mouse Wheel (MW) but if you use the left mouse button (LMB) and drag, the pointer goes to one direction then the opposite. Version 1.5.3.50487

The smoke pods act like IR-missiles when the PCA 2nd row 1st switch is depress. -the seeker sound is on -you have also a small circle in HUD Dunno if it is normal though, I just find it weird.
