  1. I started using AMD Fluid Motion Frames recently as it smooths out my trackIR micro stuttering completely, allows me to use MSAA 4x for a crisper image and it also seems to cause less ghosting, basically it makes the sim run so much smoother and cleaner, however the game hangs my system if I alt-tab out of the sim when using it. As long long as I don't leave the sim it runs fine. No other flight sim, space sim or game application has this issue on my system, only DCS.
  2. Trigger zones will copy randomly, one minute they copy the next they don't, more don't than do tbh, drawings don't copy for me either.
  3. There is a good video on you tube that explains things quite well I thought. Let me see if I can find it.... hold on..... Found it:
  4. If I understand you correctly and my understanding of OMM is correct, then no, OMM does not rewrite files at each launch, it does it once and never checks again. So if an update overwrites the files OMM does not know or care. If look in your DCS folder after an update without uninstalling the mods you will see a /backup folder with all the files it overwrote. Please bear in mind that for the last 400 years I have uninstalled mods every time an update comes through, so I am not entirely sure how dcs behaves anymore with regards to alien files as things may have changed, but that's how it used to be back in the bronze age.
  5. That picture of the green valley surrounded by desert is beautiful, wow.
  6. In my experience there is no need to turn anything off, DCS will run from that drive no problem, in fact you could copy it to another drive and it will still run. Quite robust in that regard.
  7. Works for me, didn't at first, trying to remember what I did to get it to work, was awhile back. Do you have vsync off and full screen on inside DCS?
  8. Let us know how you get on as I tried that a while back and it made no difference.
  9. Reverted to TAA, the jags and shimmering were driving me crazy, the blurry image from TAA is not very nice either but more tolerable imo. Hopefully they will resolve this in the next two weeks tm as I would not like to have the TAA as a permanent solution.
  10. +1 but on a 7900XT

  12. Seems to be sorted, was just flying around in there a few minutes ago.
