That's the one Actually, that was the one I was looking for but couldn't find when I posted. Thanks! That is the mod you will need to get the vehicles correct.

Forgot to mention, you need the "Unified WW II Mods" JSGME to get the WWII vehicles. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2233977#post2233977

Here is a simple mission. Start, taxi, takeoff and fly to the abandoned airfield and practice strafing the various targets. Return and land. Speedbrake [SB] Spitfire Gnd Attack Trn.miz

Thanks! Hawk, You made me rethink what I was doing. For some unknown reason I was thinking the booster coils and starter switches were "home" and "End". Duh! After rechecking the controls I see I had the wrong key. It should have been "Home" and :Delete". Thanks for making me think to double check!

Anyone else having problems getting the engine started? I've run through the training following each step but when it comes to getting a start...no joy. I've done this three times. I've reviewed Matt engine start video and followed those steps...no joy. I can get a start if I use the RtWin-Home but those steps look identical to what I have been doing. Is there some trick I'm missing? The engine turns over but never attempts to catch. And yes I have the magnetos on......:helpsmilie:

Missing Icons
Speedbrake replied to Speedbrake's topic in Release Version Bugs and Problems (Read only)
Thanks I saw the DCS World updater application and made an icon for that. I guess the other files for repair, etc. are invisible in the bin folder so I see from your thumbnail that you can just make out the icon without having them in view. -
Missing Icons

Good to know, thanks for the quick response. What about the missing links in the start menu for Dcs World? -
Got a new computer and loaded both DCS World and DCS World 2. On my old system when I loaded the programs I got icons on the desktop for both the single player and multiplayer. However on the new system using Windows 10 I only get the single player icons. Am I missing something? How do I correct this? Also, under the start menu I only have links for the update, uninstall, repair, etc. icons for DCS World 2. I did track down the update DCS World app in the bin folder and made an icon for that but didn't see the repair or other apps in the bin folder. ????

Thanks Will check it out. Thanks for the quick reply.

Got a new computer and downloaded the latest version of DCS World v1.5.5. However there are no links in the start menu (Win10) for updates, repair, etc. I downloaded DCS World v2.X and those items show up under Eagle Dynamics under the start menu for the alpha version. Where do I get those links for DCS World? Are they somewhere in the DCS World folder? Thanks ahead of time for any help.

Doh! Doh, thanks. It has been a couple of years since I have had to install DCS and I totally overlooked that box in the setup.

Just got a new Alienware computer with Win10 as the OCS. When I play DCS the bottom task bar remains in sight. That is the OCS taskbar, not the data from in the sim.How do I get it to hide when in the simulation? Thanks!

What am I missing? On all three of my current versions of DCS World, v1.5.3, beta and alpha, the autopilot is not working as described in the flight manual. Except for the test switch I never get the yellow lights, it always goes to green on the first click and off again on the second. I saw it function as described in the manual on an early version in Bunyap's M-200C YouTube video. What gives? Do I need to reset something? Oops....internet problems....double entry for this post!

Am I missing something? The autopilot system in all three of my copies of DCS World does not seem to work as in the flight manual. Except for the test button, I never get the yellow light for the first click and the green for the second click. It always goes directly to green on the first click. I believe it worked when I first loaded the M-2000C and can see it work in Bunyap's video of the M-2000C. Do I need to got back to the default control setting and reset my Warthog HOTAS? Is it working for anyone else as it is written in the flight manual?

All Good! Jumped too quick. I didn't realize that the newest update added to the navigation system....didn't see a change log for the update. I retried my mission and all is well using the updated capability. My bad! :music_whistling:

That's what I meant. I will give it another try using what you are telling me. I was used to the triangle and "house-like" pointer matching up when you were on course. So when I thought I got to the waypoint, following the triangle on the heading scale I was really way off course if I didn't reselect the heading in the HSI.

Something has gone wrong with the M-2000C navigation system in v2.0.1 (the latest update) Alpha. I created a mission in the NTTR and have flown it multiple times without a problem. However in the latest update the waypoint pointer and the heading error indicator are mismatched and the waypoints don't step through (go to the next waypoint, as you reach a waypoint. Anyone else having this problem? I went into the mission editor and resaved the mission thinking an update may have caused the problem but no luck, it still seems hosed.

Multiple Weapons I created a weapon load of (2) Rocket Pods and (4)Mk-82 Snake Eyes in both DCS World v1.5 and 2.0 and haven't had a problem deploying them. I know when I had a load of (4)MK-82 SE and (2)MK-20s in DSC v2.0 I couldn't get a release.

Is there a change list from the most current update for the alpha version?
