  1. Also the Blitz 3.6-6700A is the German troop/transport truck.
  2. Try CCKW 353. It appears to be the 2 1/2 ton truck. The program will either put it with or without the back cover....you don't have that choice. Either looks nice. It you create a convoy, there will be a mix of styles.
  3. Item 4: Have you tried using a different gamma setting? It is a new addition (slider) in the setup area? I find using 1.7 works fine for me. The default was set to 2.2. You can actively change it while in the simulation by using escape going to settings (or was it system??) making the change and then resuming the simulation.
  4. Haven't seen a formal response to the missing textures both in the encyclopedia and in the simulation v2.1.1 for the cargo ships Ivanov and Yakushev. I will now go out and see if the same is true for v1.5 YES, the same is true for the most current version of v1.5 In both version these two ships have missing textures that leave a green/white camo version of most of the ship except for the cargo.
  5. Okay, I think I know what is going on....I had upped my civilian traffic to medium before I created my mission with one train. I just re-flew my mission ran down the track to a town with several rail yards and saw five different trains coming from different directions. It must be normal civilian traffic. I killed three but ran out of ammo! LOL
  6. Created mission with one train and saw what your reported. However when I strafed the train another appeared down the track like it had re-spawned. Could this be a bug? Also unlike other moving target items, you can't F7 or is it F8 to view trains. Hope that is only because they are a WIP???
  7. Good option.....creating the Gamma selection!
  8. Just re-flew the mission and had it happen again. I'm attaching two screens. While in F2 it looked like the "g" meter was going from -1 to +3 . Also when I got back control I was at 450 kts and 9500 ft altitude. I was blacked out at 493 knots, 6500 ft. https://www.4shared.com/s/f2AjG35Euei https://www.4shared.com/s/fkFEJ5U_Kei I flew it again today with tip missiles, 4Xrocket pods and a centerline tank and did not get the blackout. I flew in the 450-500 Knots range at about 4000-8000 feet. It may only be a problem in clean configuration???? I hope this helps.
  9. I will try and see if I can duplicate it. However I do remember resetting the "g" meter after this happened. It had gone from at least +2 to -2. More information: Normandy database mission set at March at 1800 hours. The aircraft was clean (no external weapons or fuel tank). All settings were at maximum.
  10. This happened to me twice in the same Normandy mission. I was out of afterburner about 4,000 ft the first time. Didn't think I was going that fast, maybe 400 KCAS. The same happened again at about 6,000 ft., again not "that" fast. Internal view, blacked out, external view the wings shaking to beat the band. Of course the plane wouldn't respond to control or throttle inputs. Lucky it remained level until I could regain internal cockpit. Also on final approach with the boards out , gear down, and auto flaps the plane didn't want to slow down as it normally did on about a 2-3 degree glideslope. I will investigate further not time I fly it. BTW. dampers on!
  11. Omit Lifebar This is the information in another thread that let me get rid of it. Go here <install path>\DCSWorld\Mods\aircrafts\Uh-1H\Cockpit\Scripts\LifeBar and rename LifeBar_page.luato something else. In the Lifebar folder there were two .lua files. I simply added a new folder called Removed and put them both in it. No more Lifebar blocking my sim play. And, if I decide that I need them, I simply take them out of the removed folder.!
  12. Since v2.1 the "Lifebar" is now showing up in "Sim Mode" why? I read the topic on how to get rid of the file, but why was the decision made to start showing it in Sim Mode or is this a bug?
  13. I'm sure this must have been mentioned before but.... Under the new lighting techniques, the HUD is very hard to see at least on the Ka-50 in the NTTR database. I assume the same would be true in Normandy but haven't used the more modern aircraft there.
  14. I saw them several times along the waterfront, especially in a port. They even flap their wings....really cool! https://www.4shared.com/s/f5Os9iP8jca
  15. Yes, there are other things such as screenshots, kneeboard, possibly liveries and mission depending where you savrd or installed them to. As long as you renamed the folder and NOT deleted it, you can copy those over just like the input file. For me, I save my missions and liveries in the main program folder under the approiate file structure. I should have mentioned this at the time.
  16. Today I noticed that I had gotten a 10% warning on my posts. However when i checked "Review Post" (the reference post).....I find I did not even post on that thread. What's the story, please?
  17. I was having some problems with DCS 2.1 running. Got some freeze-ups and long loading times. What i did was determine that my Nvidia drivers were out of date so I updated them. And did this, to answer your question. Go into your Saved Games, DCS.openalpha folder and rename it. Start the simulation (it will create a whole new folder. Then go into the renamed folder under the "Config" folder and copy tour "input" files into the newly created DCS.openalpha "Config" folder. This will save all you inputs for aircraft set-ups. You will have to reset your main simulation settings such as textures, traffic, etc. Maybe someone else can tell you what file will keep your settings, I just reset mine.
  18. Normandy Comment After cruising around in Normandy and then going back to Nellis, I feel the colors are too "bright" (more like washed out). I think my mission was set for about 10 AM. Also, I need to try adjusting my settings as the tree shadows in Normandy were flashing alot on the free flight mission. I flew the Free Flight mission in Normandy and watched the B-17 land from my Spitfire cockpit. One comment, the landing lights looked like two white triangles coming from the B-17 wings....not natural at all. I realize it is in Alpha, and thank you for the work! I look forward to follow-on corrections and changes. My opinion....contrast and brightness need work.
  19. Normandy Loading Time Anyone having a problem getting Normandy to load? I have both Normandy and the Assets package loaded and active. I go into Instant Action and select the Spitfire Takeoff mission and on the loading screen it gets about 4/5 of the way loading and does not go farther even after 5 minutes. I've done a repair a couple of times but that doesn't help. Also if I go into Mission Editor and select New Mission, then select Normandy, the screen goes dimmer and I can't select any countries or even get out of the page????? Update: I changed the mission to free flight and the mission loaded after three-four minutes. I then went back to Takeoff and it loaded, but faster. So I guess ignore the forst part of this post. However, is the mission editor working for normandy? I'm running on: Alienware Aurora i7-6700 Windows 10 16 GB RAM Nvidia GeForce 1070 w/8GB RAM GDDR5
  20. Didn't spot that! Thanks!
  21. I've purchased both Normandy and the Assets Pack. When they are released, my question is can the assets pack also be used in the Crimean database in v1.5.....?
  22. Good catch! Correct color....Canada will have to do. Actually I'm part Canadian anyway.
  23. Home Fries, I downloaded your files and they look very nice. Thanks! I was hoping for more of a typical althought fictional pattern of sand, tan and light brown. Much like a desert camo A-10C.
  24. I checked the User-Files before posting and found none. I was hoping that someone may have created one and possibly had it available on some other site. However, i will check the skin section which was wasn't aware of.
  25. Thought I would start flying the Ka-50 around in the Nevada database. Is there a USA, Marine, Etc desert camo skin out there? Thanks
