The ATC works pretty well. You get to the speed you want to hold and push the ATC button. After Cold and Dark start you have to push it twice in order to engage it. Greetings -K

Some of us want to do those checks. I mean why not? It's a simulator, so let the people simulate things. For the OP, you trigger the cat at MAX, not at MIL. I use the afterburner detent on the HOTAS Warthog and a curvature of 6 to be exactly at MIL. After that I can do my checks, advance to MAX and take off. But yeah, a command would be cool. :) Greetings -K

The EW Suite didn't throw a flare because it never knew that a heater is on it's way to you. The Hornet doesn't have an MWS like the A-10. It will only react to Launches marked with an corresponding RWR Launch i.e. a Strela-10 shot at you. That would trigger the RWR and a Flare should be popped, although I didn't test that part yet. So today I tested our only BVR option as of now. The AIM-7 Sparrow. According to Wikipedia the F/M Versions should have a range of about 38nm however this is not the case in DCS. I've tested two scenarios. 1st: L-39C with ROE to Weapons Safe and no reaction to threat @~6000ft and 270KTAS 2nd: Tu-95 with same settings as the L-39 but @ 35000ft and 270KTAS During the first test I shot two AIM-7F. One at 15nm and one at 10nm - Both missed due to no energy. The second test I fired the same two AIM-7F but one at MaxPk (~28nm) and one at 20nm. The first one missed also due to no energy but the second hit the 'Bear'. Worth noting is that in those tests I always flew in full burner, during the second test I even reached Mach 1.6. So my conclusion is, that you can in fact hit your target, but only if you give the missile a huge energy boost from the start. I've also provided two tracks, one for each test. Just some BFM practice against various aircraft AI set to excellent. I know that I am lacking in trigger control, especially with that last one but thats what those sessions are for, right?

Autopilot Modes are working just fine... try putting a 1% deadzone on pitch and roll. That helped me a lot. Greetings -K

No no no, thats not what I'm talking about. There is a MER adapter wich can hold 6 Mk82. It is/will be/should be a possible loadout option with the Hornet, but currently it is disabled thrugh comments in the .lua file wich defines possible loadouts. And they are working just fine, no issues besides that Bug since last patch wich affects all GP-Bombs of the Hornet. Thats why I am asking why the MER are disabled. Greetings -K

Rearm your Aircraft with the 5 A2G Weapons you want to use during the session while being cold and dark, start her up and then rearm with the proper loadout. Works like a charm. Greetings -K

Hey devs, just a question because I'm curious: Why are the 6x Mk82 on MER disabled currently? I mean, they are in the .lua file but are commented out. During my tests, there was nothing wrong with them. The SMS recognized them correctly, I could set them up via the SMS with the exception of the current "ignore the QTY and MULT settings"- bug. They came off the airplane and hit their marks. Greetings -K

Yep. You'll find the button called "ATC" in the HOTAS Section.

Ctrl + E three times removes the pilot rather quickly from the cockpit... :D

I know, I know... but the FCS goes through the same sequence as with the normal BIT Test.

Yes... on the IFEI you can see them. But OP is talking about the DDI FUEL Page. There you can't see external fuel tanks, just a difference between internal and total fuel... if there is fuel left in said tanks.

On that topic: Will the FCS WarmUp thingie be modeled later? Because if you hold FCS BIT Switch ( Y-Button ) and press the FCS Reset, just the standard BIT Test gets started.

I use DxTory for Screenshots because I want 1920x1080 screenshots and not the 5760x1080 that DCS is saving by pressing PrintScreen. For video capture and streaming I use OBS, but OBS can't take screenshots as far as I am aware.
