During the first flights I got OT Warnings too and scratched my head why I'd get degraded engine performance. But like rinao0o allready said, don't push that engine too hard. I can happily cruise at 400KIAS with 65% RPM in low altitudes with flaps at 0°. Also you save a lot of fuel that way.

Just tested right now with only inner pylon bags. They never get filled and tanker doesn't stop the transfer. So the system knows that it can fill up more but someone doesn't open the door to the bags. :D

Anyone running DCS on M.2 SSD?
Kelevra9987 replied to Ryback's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Each CPU has a set amount of PCIe lanes in his "pool". From this pool are 16 Lanes for your Graphics Card and another 4 would go to the NVMe Drive. My 6700k for example has 20 Lanes and I have used them all. If I'd add another device that uses PCIe lanes then I have to force the NVMe drive down to two lanes so I have 2 lanes back for the new device. -

There is no difference in Windows between SSD Types. So yes, you can use an M.2 Drive without problems. Just keep in mind, that if you decide to use an NVME drive, it'll take 4 PCIe lanes from your CPU. -

The Mirage is nowhere near a flying brick. A Gulfstream 2 with it's landing gear down and engines in reverse, thats a flying brick. And in case of Razbam, they have been active with their updates/patches, have gone through multiple FM revisions and also communicate with their custumers more than some other Devs around here. Yes, we pay a lot for those Modules and yes, we need a lot of patience in order to wait for updates. But in the end, it doesn't matter because you had fun during those two years. I can tell because you are still around. Just my .02ct

Wait! What kind of delay are we talking about? Harrier is to be released "in the last days of November" and if my math is right, we still have 8 days left. M-2000C's update was said to be in Version 1.5.8, wich was never given a release date. I don't see where your "delay" is...

Of course it's more sophisticated. The 2000C had it's first flight in 1982 wich is 15 Years after the Viggen. Other than an delta wing design, those two don't share anything really. And for an A/C that old, the SPAK is an "highly effective flight control system".

It may was useful but not realistic. The A-10 uses the speedbrake switch with two positions. One for opening and one for closing. It's really no biggie to push that switch forward a notch to close them brakes.

Yeah ground effect is definitly there. It threw my rooftop landings off yesterday. And even the sound bug is gone as far as I can tell. Now only the Z-Fighting when the lights are on is bothering me. Finally I can fly my Gazelle again. :)

You could even go as far and lock a Maverick onto your victim. Did it once at an slow moving F-4 and blew it (well I literally send him right to hell) with my 65G out of the sky. It was the only ordnance on board I had left. Even the gun was empty. :D

You can also set the elevation manually to the ground at the waypoint page on the CDU. And on the FPL (Flightplan) page you can disable the automatic steerpoint change. After that just slew the SOI to the SPI and you're golden. You can allways verify wich SOI is the SPI generator in the lower left corner of the HUD.

I'll give my best to be there in time.

Depends on the Situation but normally I am fairly light loaded. 40-60% Fuel 100% Gun 2x AGM-65 (mostly D) 4x GBU-12 or 4x GBU-38 TGP MK5 Rockets 4x AIM-9 If I need them for the situation on hand I take 4x AGM-65.

If it's the only thread you are up against, you could fly an orbit around the suspected position and look out of you canopy. As soon as they fire, you pull a little harder to dodge the bullets and you know roughly where they are. Just remember the ground position and then give 'em hell...
