I'll have a look at this, there should be a slider but how knows ... SoundModule is not my business, please contact Andre. F18 does not export RPM values at the moment thus SSA can not model the RPM effect... I would check the export.lua. Are you using any other addon like VAICOM, TacView... ?

Das ist mit Absicht so modelliert. Die F18 hat einen GroundIdle stop, so dass man in der Luft nicht so viel Power rausnehmen kann... Am Boden sollte man die volle Bewegung haben. Ich selbst verwende einfach eine Deadzone und überspringe die GroundIdle Zone...

Das ganze Handtracking und Körpertracking ist nett aber auch sehr spooky. Bei uns am Lehrstuhl gibt es diverse Trackingsysteme und ich finde immer noch merkwürdig einen virtuellen Schalter umzulegen ohne haptisches Feedback. Daher finde ich den Mauskompromiss um einiges besser...

Did you somehow moved/linked your DCS profile folder to a different drive?

SimConnect is for FSX/P3D. If the service tab log does not provide any info, than there is something wrong. At least it should list, that if found a DCS installation and placed the export.lua. Did you try to start SSA directly from it's installation folder? Did you install a new anti virus or firewall software? Cheers

The export.lua looks fine. I mean the log in SSA's service tab... So start SSA and go to the service tab. There is a message box

An older version will not help in this case... Something seems wrong with your setup... could you please start SSA and check the logs in the service tab. Bevor alle nach einer neuen VR Generation schreien sollte DCS erstmal so optimiert werden dass es die aktuelle Generation maximal ausreizt. Denn 90 fps und alles auf Max. ist selbst mit dem dicksten System nicht wirklich drin... Die Auflösung ist wirklich 'schwierig' aber das fliegen ist genial! Zur Not einfach mal schauen wo man eine VR Brille ausprobieren kann. Dann kann man abschätzen wie die Grafik ist...

The usual trouble shooting tip is to check your export.lua. The easiest way is to make a backup of that file and remove it. SSA will create a new one... The file is located in your saved games profile folder.

Zumal auch ein Großteil der Ausbildung für Notfallprozeduren drauf geht. Fliegen ist halt nicht nur fliegen, es geht darum die Ausnahmen zu können und entsprechend reagieren zu können... Da sind wir in den Simulatoren doch 'etwas' verwöhnter. Ansonsten einfach mal ne Stunde bei einer Flugschule buchen und selbst ans Horn...

Kinda hard for me to detect if one is on the carrier or not. DCS does not provide much information here. I've also problems to detect if a plane is sliding or the carrier is fast moving. The data looks identical for SSA. I've to figure out a smart way to tackle these issues...

Did you try starting the app from it's install location? I posted the instruction in the first post of this thread

You just need the USB connector if you use SSA with DCS.

Did you find a way to read the RPM and APU RPM value?
