Well.... jet engines are VERY temperamental. The smallest object can break a turbine fan and everything comes to a halt. Fuel lines can be broken too and that includes ducts to allow the exhaust gas to pass through and escape the engine, if these very high temps can't escape it can cause a failure of the engine. That includes a 5.45mm, granted , that could've been a very lucky shot! :) At 1:54 sec you'll see what happens when a fan breaks in a turbine engine. :smartass:

Yes. So NDB approaches still used today in most parts of the world. They're cheap and relatively easy to maintain (it's a basic AM radio antenna). The NDB's only provide horizontal guidance, not vertical. In the US, the FAA is slowly replacing most NDB's with GPS approaches using WAAS. I played tonight in the Su-25A and I am having the same issue.

You control the up & down control on the radar with default "O" & "L" I believe. Happy hunting! Oh.. btw, the cursor only moves up and down, you need to move the aircraft into position left and right to line up the target in your radar screen.
