Ok, it must be something else then.. I'm using Vista as well (64bit) and have an i7 920 as well. I don't have any sound issues either in DCS or FC2.0. Is this a bug I'm experiencing??? (I love being sarcastic:lol:)

Did you tweak this from BIOS??

I don't have any problem with sounds. I'm using a headset all the time. I'm guessing those who have sound issues are using Dual Core CPUs. I'm using an i7, I have all settings to maximum in options and I can hear all sounds perfectly clear in and out of the cockpit.

Those 2 Mi-24 are some tough b#%@es. They shot down my wingman and got me with their fancy gunpods. (Or I think it was a gunpod:huh:) anyway they were shooting some green stuff at me.. not fair :lol: Its a tough mission alright but well worth it when you complete it ;)

Check your radio altimeter every 3 secs and make sure you're on the right flight path. To make sure your in the right flight path, enable auto-route with 'R' key and trim the blades for a steady speed, I'd say around 180-200 kph. If you're climbing, lower the speed, its important or the heli will not climb at all and you'll face the invisible mountain on your forehead. Do this and you should be fine. It works for me.

Black Shark DOES feature this modeling. I flew last night in a campaign over the mountains on a very high altitude for helicopters and although the temperature was 15c on Sea Level, I turned on the rotor anti-ice and the EKRAN STILL gave me a warning of ice built-up on rotor blades. While I was climbing over the mountain there was a sudden shake and start losing altitude pretty fast, I did not crash thankfully, I managed to overcome it and restarted the climb in a much slower rate. Unfortunately later an Mi-24 shot me down with its gunpods :doh: Edit: I'll fly the mission again later when I finish work. I finally got pumped up with Black shark AFTER an entire year!!! Edit #2: To stay on topic: I think the Su-25A and T are much more enjoyable now, although they are a bit easier to fly.

Since EvilBivol used the analogy of iceskating, I'll use the analogy of firearms. You may play counterstrike or any other fps game for years and have an amazing talent and be the "king of hill" online. I'm not saying you'll have a hard time to shoot with a gun... but will you be able to hit the bullseye?

Basically if you didn't understand any of it: The cockpits are not fully rendered in 3D (like Black shark), they are partially 3D.. 80% is 2D. If I'm wrong correct me plz.

Digital Integration successfully created the HIND and AH-64D Apache with the 2 seat functionality.. I know I know.. Its been a million years ago but it was fun. When you switched to back seat, the front seat would take control of the aircraft (basically like an autopilot) and you could search and destroy targets without having to worry about smashing into the ground.

So the map could be front & back. Front with the entire DCS/FC2 region and the back divided 16 times for all the airport charts in game??

Same thing happened to me the first time. I flew the mission again and I stayed in pattern above the airbase until the C-17 got inside the parkbox. Then I RTB and once I touched the runway mission completed successfully.

MIG 29 doesn't need any training videos. Its basically the same (not identical) but very similar to the Su-27.

I have Vista 64bit and everything (including starforce protection) works fine
