  1. The P4 and P5 weren't even used by the Air Force if I recall correctly. They were exports so the allied nations could get their hands on L and M type seekers.
  2. As of right now all we've been told is they are trying to earn a 3rd party license. Where they are in that process is not known at this time. If they do receive a license, I expect they'll announce it immediately, or the ending of their project if they don't, again, likely immediately.
  3. I don't see why not, it can carry the AIM-9M which is more advanced than the P5. The P5 is just a P5 motor with an M head on it.
  4. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3136637&postcount=9 Being considered.
  5. Any chance for the GBU-54? It's the LJDAM. By the way, APKWS designation is WGU-59/B.
  6. Notice the tusks under the nose, American Harriers do not have them, this is a British one. Brimstones were never cleared on active Harriers, only tested.
  7. Kind of late to the party mate. A few months back RAZBAM put together a poll asking which Harrier the community would prefer, the AV-8B(NA)\Plus or the GR.7/9. The GR harriers won by a respectable amount so that is what was decided to be done. However shortly after RAZBAM ran into trouble with the module. Classified material meant they couldn't have access to too many systems, they specifically mentioned the Targeting Pod was a point of contention, though hardly the only one. On the reverse side of that, they found that they had much more detailed information available to them to do an AV-8B Harrier, and so after apologizing to the community they switched over, thus putting ourselves in this position today. They have not ruled out a GR.7/9 Harrier, however barring the sudden declassification of a number of systems by the MoD, I wouldn't hold my breath for it.
  8. These are Plus Harriers. Folks, the things you're looking for is a rectangular box above the nose, and a clear lens like nose cap. If it has a solid nose, it's a Plus. If it doesn't have the rectangular box above the nose it's a Day Attack. If it has both, that's what you want.
  9. Yes, in the US that's July 1st to September 30th.
  10. Nice update. Even when there isn't much to show off, just getting more shots and videos of what you already have in action is pretty fun. Since you asked though, the switch on the Chaff panel, the one that has WR on top and Off on the bottom keeps sliding on and off.
  11. They don't even have a third party license yet, so be patient.
  12. Only on the Chinese versions unless I've missed something.

  14. As was revealed in the Leatherneck breakup, licenses from ED are granted on a module basis. If that module is transferred or sold to another third party, the license stays with that code. So as long as Polychop had a license for the Bo-105, then when PolyDynamics took it over they would inherit the license for the Bo-105.
  15. I would rethink doing the F-16C. There is no FC3 aircraft that can hope to in any way model the capabilities of the aircraft. I would instead suggest you do an earlier block so you can more 'faithfully' represent it.
  16. Should we also ignore the laser guided bomb?
  17. Well for starters they can take away your license...
  18. As flanker1 pointed out, you are by no means the first to try this, even in mod form, and ED has shut every single attempt down. Have you spoken with ED prior to going forward with this?
  19. Yes
  20. This is the latest info: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3079354&postcount=56
  21. Yeah it's DetCord. It shatters the canopy so you can eject. It's faster and lighter than having the whole canopy blow away, and since the harrier can theoretically be hovering at zero speed ten feet off the ground, speed of ejection is key.
  22. Cobra can't keep a secret to save his life. We knew about the Viggen months before it was announced, same with the Tomcat. If Heatblur were doing a Flogger, there would have been 37 different avatars, 15 hints and three news letter titles with some sort of pun based on the MiG-23 by now.
  23. If you're talking about the Community A-4E, then you've got your info wrong. As of right now, it cannot employ guided weapons and they can't even get the AI to work with the buddy refueling pod, and it may not be possible at all without access to the SDK. They've had some success in finding workaround for systems like the Sidewinder, but it would be a mistake to assume they'll find workarounds to the issue of Walleyes, Bullpups, Shrikes or buddy pods.
  24. We'd take just a vid of you guys screwing around in the plane too you know :music_whistling: I look forward to the April Update.
