In the FC3/Su27 training mission "Strafe" one of the gates is inside the ground, you can barely see the top of it and with trees also around it makes it impossible to pass through which prevents the mission from triggering forward.

The Refresh Rate itself wont increase the load on the GPU or CPU, your FPS should be >75 and Valve found out that it should be at about 90 for a good expierence, this wont increase the load either but you're gonna need to alter your settings to reach those numbers for a smooth expierence. Your eyes (and more biologically speaking, your Brain) WILL tell the difference between 75 and 60 fps, it all depends on the amount of movement that is happening on how much you will notice the difference.

Nope, you can just go download the open beta and use the module manager to download the modules to the beta branch aswell.

1.5 will hopefully be out this month in the open beta, dont know a specific date and they could of course find some gamebreaking bugs that could delay the launch a little further.

Thats not my point, you are able to record and upload Videos to Youtube if you use Twitch, its actually very easy to do, it wasnt uploaded because ED only did this as a test and has been stated many times by them (different resoultions for the stream will be possible once they are partnered), all I'm saying is just that they should stick to twitch for streaming instead of going to youtube blocking out a part of the audience.

I really hope they stick with Twitch, Youtube streaming is blocked in some countries (Germany for example) because of some legal issues, apart from the app IMO twitch is a better streaming platform overall aswell.

I dont think the Hornet is anywhere near ready to be released, I'd expect DCS World 2 to be released much sooner.

Take your time, its hard to wait until the release, but if you think its not ready I just have to dream a little more before actually playing^^. I dont think its necessary to have the multi-crew support ready for the open Alpha, I wouldnt be bothered if thats gonna get added in a later patch. Other than that I can totally understand the need for the other Items. Over-Wing Vapor YES! 40$ for NTTR I think is a totally reasonable price considering how big and detailed the map looks in the Videos, instant purchase for me! Updated Mig-29 sounds awesome, and the Hornet is the module that will take my life once its come out :D. All in all thanks for your hard work at ED!

No worries Twitch is very easy to use, just set yourself a reminder of when the livestream starts and open the website at that time, then you'll see the livestream right there. If you want to you can also register to twitch (shouldnt be any harder than the ED forums) and follow the twitch channel and turn the e-mail notification on, then you'll get an e-mail when he starts and can chat with others during the livestream. Or just watch it after the stream in the Twitch archives (I guess there'll be a link to that then here). Looking forward to it! How long will the livestream be going for?

I got an Oculus Rift DK2 sitting here at home and I'm very excited to see what DCSW2 will bring for it, as it says Improved Oculus Rift support in the first post. Flying without the DK2 regardless of its resolution is not an option for me anymore :).

You need a Profile for the Stick and for the Throttle seperatly, if you select something in the throttle category you can load a profile for the throttle. If you do that with the Stick you set a Profile for the Stick.
