  1. Current openbeta is 2.5.5.36986. The updater only checks once every 24h when you just launch dcs, you gotta manually use the dcs_updater.exe from your DCS install folder /bin
  2. Modules purchased from the DCS site cant be used with the steam version, but you can transfer steam modules to standalone. To use Standalone modules you gotta have DCS installed from the website.

Page 22, Master Arm Switch, 1 "mode" too much at the end, "release/launch, mode except for an emergency jettison" Takeoff and Landing Configuration Warning Lights, "decent rate" instead of descent rate Page 23, Vertical Velocity Indicator, again "decent" instead of descent Page 25, "ANTI-SKID switch, "You can turn it off course too." Saying "You can turn it off as well" would probably sound better, otherwise it should be "turn it off of course" Thanks a lot for providing the guide early and special thanks to bunyap for making it!
  4. Since I dont have the skins under Bazar\Liveries maybe for those its working the correct skins are installed there and the campaign is using those. Might also be worth checking in the mission editor then if there are 2 sets of skins, 1 working and one not.
  5. Out of curiousity, are the file names in your livery folders different than mine were (The one I posted above as false). Or does that structure work for you.
  6. I did some more digging today and I found the problem, Hurrah! The texture is just named Bf-109, while it should be named Bf-109K-4_DIF Correct: False: EDIT: The bug hunting isnt quite over yet, oh joy. The specular map still seems to be not loading properly: EDIT2: So looking at this thread (https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=193596) I realized that the specular map has been replaced with rough_met for a while with 2.5 now. This makes sense as in the Description there is no reference to a Specular map but to a RoughMet. I also looked at PorcoRosso's skins that are downloadable here https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/2600231/ . I now replaced the default spec file with the RoughMet file that comes with PorcoRosso's liveries and voilá: So it seems something has gone wrong with the textures and their names that were included with the campaign. Hope this helps you pinpoint what went wrong and how to get it fixed in a patch, I'll go and enjoy the campaign now (Mission 2 already done and it was great!) with my hacked together files.

  8. I should've clarified that with this I meant the actual keybinds that you can search for when under Controls. Default keys are Page Up and Down
  9. In the plane its controlled by the rocker switch on the right wall of the throttle. The bindings are "Engine RPM Increase" and "Engine RPM decrease" there is no axis.
  10. No saved games liveries folder is empty. I had the 109 Pato Cockpit mod installed but I removed it before the repair mentioned yesterday and dont have anything custom installed currently.
  11. Didnt help, I now have 2 sets of the liveries to choose in the mission editor, but the textures are still missing (also tried inside the campaign). I also cannot find the campaign liveries for the other units that work fine inside bazar/liveries
  12. Checked through all liveries and planes in the Mission Editor, only the 109 has the texture missing. I have all the folders you are showing under "...\Mods\campaigns\Bf 109 K-4 Jagdflieger Campaign\Liveries\Bf-109K-4" Inside the folders everything looks fine too
  13. Steps I tried in the following order: Uninstall all Mods with JSGME Do a DCS Repair Delete fxo and metashader folders Tried different Texture and Anisotropic Filtering settings Un and Reinstalled the campaign
  14. Its been missing in Mission 1 and I also checked in Mission 2 but now waiting for it to get fixed to continue.
  15. Yea its really sad, they even had to hire civilian helicopters to get their pilots sufficient flying hours, because they couldnt keep enough of the armys own flying. Almost makes you wanna set up a charity for our military... dunno if i wanna laugh or cry at that joke.

Same here, even the propeller has the "Digital camo" :pilotfly: I think the first mission should have some kind of notification after the P51s are shot down that you are supposed to land and the mission ends there, I flew around for quite a while thinking a p51 I needed to kill might have escaped.

  22. I'd say the Fw190 D9 is the easiest as it has a lot of automation and a well laid out cockpit. Compared to the modern stuff theres a lot less to learn in terms of systems, but the flying is quite a bit more difficult, especially the bit where you're on a runway, no matter if you came from the air or a taxi way. Also have to keep in mind that the german birds arent that great in a turn fight, so theres some stuff to learn too.

  25. Let me rephrase: They wont get ready because you feel like you earned them to be there at that specific point in time. Of course you paid for them, and you'll get them, just one week later than was announced.
