There are different buttons for the comms menus, the regular \ for on ground and its a modifier + \, sorry cant recall which modifier since i have set my 2 radio buttons on my hotas. Check the Key bindings under Radio you should find them. I recommend just binding radio 1 and 2, makes it much easier, especially if you got simple comms turned off.

I had the same problem and had to go into "Buttons" and change the port from 6 to 5.

Most people are using TrackIR or some other form of headtracking (VR works too). Thats why you see a lot of people have no trouble moving the camera around while clicking on stuff at the same time.

To get the Youtube link to work just use the code behind the url not the entire one, in this case just the "aomANJGtRxE" instead of " ". Like Wags said, never put negative G on the aircraft when dropping bombs, bad idea ;)

I suppose you could implement an option to use both left engines with the left throttle and both right engines with the right one.

It's in early access yes. You should be able to download it in the module manager if you've bought it with the same account you log into dcs with.

The first "roll left roll left, deedle deedle, flight controls flight controls" is just the system testing itself and will happen every start up. Don't know what the taxi thing is about, did you do an FCS reset during the start up?

Additionally you will want more trim for a carrier take-off, 16-19 degrees on stabs depending on weight, then you wont get the "Check Trim" warning. You can see how much trim you have on stabs in either the FCS or Checklist page, the Checklist page also shows your current weight. The push-button inside the rudder trim sets it to 12 and then you use your normal trim control (hat or whatever you set it to) to adjust it to the weight (again this is only carrier, for airfield its always your standard 12)

And the difference between the W and the Velocity Vector is your Angle of Attack. I think the W is only visible with gear out but I could be wrong on that.
