I think this is a flight model related bug and it happens many times. 1. gain enough speed. 2. do a high AOA (i think maybe 70 to 80) climb until the speed reduces to below 300. 3. push the stick to make a nose down. Then it may happen. Suddenly it sounds like an engine failure, the engines look fine but feel no power at all. And the jet becomes like a leaf, can't be controlled. This bug can be triggered on the FC3 F-15C. I also tried DCS F-16C but it flies totally normal. f18c_bug.trk

I was trying to do a take-off climbing like this on both C and E model of F-15 with the same payload. I can't. Maybe it's my skill issue. I'm just curious if anyone can make a similar perform in DCS? Tried another one and I broke the wings. F-15C test.trk

Final solution for this issue. Have to bind a usable IP address in the Windows hosts file for "cdn.digitalcombatsimulator.com".

I have to report, that this problem happens again in this week's update. This happened the first time in the 04.12.2024 update, and then 3 in a row all had this issue. The 24.12.2024 update normally works like before this(with the green line).

I would buy any DCS: F-35 or F-22 modules without any heist.

My final stats for this problem: 1. The updater will download the update information very slowly. 2. Download error message both for the updater and DCS UI. 3. Click the install or update button again, if the update information can be downloaded normally then it may be fine. 4. The download could be normal or could be wrong in the middle. This problem is very strange because I now can be sure it's nothing about my PC, my router, my network topology, my OS or software settings. Nothing else I or we can do I think.

Thanks guys. Definitely not the problems from my PCs, my routers, or my settings. Yesterday it still downloaded at below 1kb/s then disconnected. Today it just updates normally like good old times. This one is my work PC in my work Place. But my two home PCs in my house still can't update DCS. I called my internet provider and waiting for their support.

it's 20+kb/s when it starts then slows down to below 1kb/s in just a few seconds. this has been happening since late November. i can't update or create new installation now. there must be something wrong with the server

Hi, silverdevil! Thanks for the reply. I tried many times the last week on two of my home PCs. I reset my router, reset my OS network, tried [ipconfig /flushdns] command in cmd. The update server can be pinged with 340ms latency. The updater starts with below 20kb/s download speed, after maybe 5 minutes it slows down to below 1kb/s and then pops the error message. Anything else I may try?

Tried an engineer sample 7950X with RTX 4090, 3840x1440 resolution, 4x MSAA and 1.5x SSAA, mirror on, everything else Ultra or High. Caucasus map with TP-51 default free flight mission, always above 60fps.

me too here. once started engine 1 i have to almost immediately start engine 2, otherwise engine 2 won't go pass 53% and failed to start.

Hello! This bug is very strange and I encountered it a couple of times. After Left engine started, click Right Engine start switch and wait for the 20% Np, then press SHIFT+Home to bring up right power lever. If this bug happens, the SHIFT+Home key press won't work, using mouse curser to move the right power lever won't work. And most strange is, Win key won't work, ALT+Tab windows switch won't work. Anything that in the Windows 11 system that should switch the application won't work. Then I have to push the reset key on the PC case to restart the computer. I'm using i9-9900K, RTX 3070, 48GB DDR4, some SSDs, Windows 11 22000.556, NVIDIA 517.96 driver.
