[USER ERROR] Trim getting stuck in nose up position
kiss4luna replied to Rogago's topic in Bugs and Problems
I may have the issue too. I take off with the flaps in half but still get the trim problem. I will try again to make sure. -
Let us shoot pilots out of the sky after they eject
kiss4luna replied to Mohamengina's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Well shooting down parachute is available in IL-2 and I sometimes did it on purpose. Not being able to shoot down a parachute is some kind of unrealism to me. It's not about moral. A very simple way to satisfy both, I think is to make parachutes disappear when they are shot, mark the pilots dead. If the parachutes landed, mark the pilot survive. I won't need much code to do it, just about physics. Moral side, taking down an entire village by bombs in the game, you won't do it in real life in most cases. And those who really kill people in the real world, I don't think they care about a gore feature in the game. I can understand both sides of you guys. -
1080 is well enough, next time i'm expecting a 1180

Can't fly flyable aircraft

Not working. I did a new installing on my new computer, this occurred. On my previous computer, no problem like this. I'm confused. -
Can't fly flyable aircraft
kiss4luna posted a topic in Release Version Bugs and Problems (Read only)
Very strange problem. After recent update, when creating a new mission in the mission editor, can't fly the aircraft which is set to "player". And even fast mission generator will come out with this problem too. Any idea about this? -
Stuttering problems - my fix

stuttering too but no this process exists. -
2.5 settings and Nvidia Control Panel
kiss4luna replied to JughedJones's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
This is my settings https://imgur.com/a/KLRls And this is my free flight video, glitches every now and then but this happens on 2.2 too so I think maybe something else is not properly done on my rig. -
I have 6700K and Titan Xp and everything maxed, GPU utility is 98% and framerate around 60. Maybe something about your settings?

GPU. 1080 or 1080 Ti really make a huge boost on the performance.

in fact it doesn't matter it's a desktop or a laptop. it does matters whether or not the performance your cpu and gpu provide are equal on a desktop or laptop. generally, a laptop provides the same level performance on a much higher expense than a desktop. or vice visa, a much lower performance at the same price of desktop. if you can afford an expensive laptop with the top-of-the-edge i7 mobile cpu and GeForce mobile gpu, they at least can ensure you a mid-level desktop pc performance. otherwise you just lower your settings cause your laptop is just not that fast enough to your same price desktop. for dcs, the latest generation i5-7x00 series desktop cpu or i7-7x00 series mobile cpu should handle it well enough. and the latest geforce gtx 1060 desktop gpu and 1070m mobile gpu should crank it well.

I think just delete the username\Saved Games\DCS.openalpha folder will help fix those problem.

MY UPDATER COPIES THE FILE FROM MY 1.5.5 FOLDER AND I DON'T HAVE TO DOWNLOAD THAT MUCH FILES.

Lighting looks very good. But the ground shadows of the F-15 looks very weired.

Hi guys. I have a very long time not flying DCS although it's always on my disk. I come back with a Thrustmaster Warthog system so I try to re-learn the courses. Then I find many of the interactive missions are corrupted or just not right. The P-51D crashes into the sea in the start-up show case mission. The UH-1 and F-86 and Ka-50 start-up mission will just stuck at some point whatever you do, the instructor will not going on. These are what I went through today. The other trainings I do not yet played but I'm afraid there may be problems too. I know currently the developer team are working hard on DCS 2.0. Some training videos on YouTube seems to be too "arcade" and they do not do it very "professionally". Is there any other interactive training or more accurate instructions? What confuses me is the official training video and the official manual are not exactly do the same so it's a little hard for me to get it clear.

Click into the Youtube page and amazingly find that I voted like on this video one year before!

Overheating GPU Trouble with DCS
kiss4luna replied to SharpeXB's topic in Video Corruption and Related Card Issues
the temp is very ok, my old gtx 480 runs at 90 without any failure. something may be wrong with your entire system, may not be the gpu's problem -
90+ frames/sec - overkill?
kiss4luna replied to thunderchicken02's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
when i play quake the first time in 1999, i know some world champion will tweak their hardware and software to run 300 fps in quake. later i played quake 3, which is still one of the best pc games in history, every pro-player would identify the differences between 30/60/90/120/144 fps due to game engine mechanics. from that on, i can easily tell the diffs of some stages of framerates in almost any game. and in some games, the final images are rendered in high framerates like 60 or more, but the game mechanics like model animation was done by low framerates like 30 or lower, i still can tell the diffs easily. now i can tell the diffs of a movie made in 24/30 fps or 60fps, haven't seen any movie or cartoon made more than 60 fps. but it's different in real-time 3d rendering, 60 will be very good for most games, for some very fast paced first person shooters and racing sims, you can easily tell the diffs between 60 and 90 or more. once you adapted to very high frame rates, you will never go back. guys ahead said you won't find any diffs with higher fps cause monitor is 60hz. that's incorrect. when we talk about fps, that may mean: 1. first person shooter. 2. frame rates per second. 3. fart processing system. obviously when we talk about dcs fps we mean the images our graphic cards can render in every one second. this makes how we feel about the fluence of the game itself. you may run the game very fast at 60 or higher fps, but try set your monitor refresh rate to 30hz or 24hz, you can feel the diffs. it's totally different between 1. running game @60 fps or higher but with very low display refresh rate like 30hz or lower. 2. running game @30 fps or lower but with very high display refresh rate like 60hz or 144hz. just try it out yourself can feel it yourself. why? when we talk about fps, we mean frame rendered by your pc in every one second. when we talk about 60hz or 30hz, we are talking about the moving circle to show one full visible image of every single liquid crystal molecule in the display panel of every monitors. it's like a car howling towards you and you instinctively closed your eyes before you get hit. you may only see two sets of contiguous images of the car in your brain's image processing unit, but the cars movement is constant between the first sight you see it and the last sight when you get hit by it. so they are just two different concepts. and that's why you may see image tearing and why pc graphics technology providers like Intel, ATi and NVIDIA and many others introduces v-sync many years ago, to synchronize every single frame your pc rendered with every single visualization circle of your display panel. many companies offer 144hz high speed LCD displays now, i personally advice you to get one if you are a hardcore pc gamer especially for arena tournament shooter players and race simmers. for flight simmers, i prefer huge sized display with QHD resolution like 4K (3820x2160) or even 8K -
that would be cool to make an ID4 or District 9 scene to fly. imagine that huge mothership in the air and we can fly an F-15 between the giant structures fighting with alien combat aircrafts. it would also be interesting to have some near-future scene to fly, a giant floating city in the black sea for example

i have the 1080P version but i don't know why i can only have 1280x800 resolution in the game which makes it difficult to see the text. this device definitely make looking around much more easier

Oculus Rift tried OR in DCS. it's so FOCKING AWSOME! two issues: shadows not correctly rendered. about 0.3 second lag in OR. generally this is the device that may change the world of sims. good job ED team
