i was reading an article about the Korean War in 1950s, and getting excited about the Sabers and Mig-15s. how about adding these two birds into DCS World?:P
-
just received the March 2013 newsletter and it says we'll have F-15C, F/A-18C, Fw-190D9 and Su27SM, F-86F, MiG-15/21Bis, Hawk, Mi-8, Mi-24, OH-58, AH-1G, etc. damn it, anyone can give me a hypersleep machine so i can wake up years later?

just tried this. but it will lead to game not responding while loading. hope ED will offer a better view officially

i have a question the radio frequency window is blocked by the throttle. how can i sent a engine start request to ATC without moving forward the throttle? of course no TrackIR used:noexpression:

any game cover yet?

hi ED guys i bought 6 copies of LockOn 1.0 years ago and 1 or 2 copies of FC1 and 1 copy of FC2, but those were mostly lost during so many years with multiple times of home-transferring. i read that FC3 need a LO or FC1/2 installation to install to DCS:World, so i just wonder if you guys can make a standalone version without the need to install anything previous LO/FC to install FC3 for DCS:World? that would be nice.

you can relocate that system folder to anywhere you like, just right click the saved games folder and choose properties,

ED's move into WWII simulation - a newcomer's perspective
kiss4luna replied to MACADEMIC's topic in DCS: P-51D Mustang
lol i don't really like wwii fighters. how about DCS: StarDestroyer? -
just make each aircraft a single module and the other parts of the game engine as an base frame. i don't think it's hard to achieve, cause the entire sim world is the same, and all need to be done is to seperate every flyable aircraft and relative files to their independent directry. in gaming history the quake engine games did this 16 years ago, the microsoft flight simulator did this a long time ago too. i think it just depends on whether ED wants to do it.

i'm not a very good pilot so i'm always damage the wheels

i thought i should wait for the steam version, but seems like i need to transfer back to my dl version

i want some screenshots and videos for bs2, so ?
-
for ED, i highly suggest that lower the price for any other incoming "patch" like bs2, wh2, fc3 or anything like this an example: black shark for 49.99$, then a bs2 "patch" for 14.99$ or less for those who already bought black shark and automatically update it to ver 2. and a full standalone version bs2 for another 49.99$ for those who dont have bs. and honestly, bs2 and fc2 should be called a DLC, which really doesn't add any significant "new" content, and should not charge too much. years ago when i translate the ed official anouncements, i thought the flyable aircraft would be charged as a complex dlc for about 30$ or above based on the same engine platform. if users want to upgrade their game engine for new features like dynamic weather, HDR, cockpit shadows, different map area etc, they can pay another money for it --- this is what is done now in microsoft flight simulator series. but currently the ed mode, buy a patch for tens of dollars, is not acceptable by many people. cause guys want a general platform that supports many different aircrafts or vehicles and let players be able to connect to each other. you should either upgrade the platform for all users for all the new engine features, and let different people choose which aircraft or vehicle module they want to buy. or dont put a pay-needed "upgrade" out so quickly. because people like to pay much more for a bunch of whole new content, but don't even like to pay a bit for a tiny "update".

there are many people in this world work over 12 hours per day over 24 days a month and get less than 1000$ payment and they do the hell same job as those who get much higher payment in other countries. just dont judge other's economics by your own.
-
how much the government give you every month after you're unemployed? while you can spend 40$ for a video game even in unemployed stage, many other people don't have such a fortune. they may not even get 200$ a month from the gov when unemployed.
-
yes, integrate this into DCS engines
-
i want the IronMan suit in DCS now lol

The English, German, Spanish and many other languages belong to Latin language system if i'm correct. and that's why translating Russian to English or German or many other languages is much much more easier than to Chinese. The Chinese language is complex as Janpanese, the Japanese learnt much from China in Tang Dynasty and using Chinese language as an model to develop their own languages, this is why these two languages are both so complex to learn for western people. i think ED should focus their attention on the sim itself. building only Russian and English version and let the retailling publishers or third party groups do the translation work. by the way, i think English will be better because Russian is to hard to speak lol
