Lets be optimistic. If the manual is in work, maybe the bits and parts are getting done and eventually will all fall in place.

Last time when i tried, that's how it worked. Mk82 accurate, Snakeyes fall long. One must aim in front of the targets for the Snakeye-s to hit something. Rockeyes, i dont know.

It looks like the "no waypoint" bug messes up the TPOD too...if you have no way point, add a mark point and it will recenter.

Its a good idea to launch DCS a few times after an update. I had a few strange "bugs" right at the first launch after an update,like stuck planes, engines not starting, across different modules, only to these issues magically disappear after a restart or the second day.

Afaik, its more like a second "set" of way points. If you have a flight plan with say, 3 way points and you make another 3 mark points, when you start cycle them, it will go WYP 1, WYP 2, WYP3, MRK 1, MRK 2, MRK 3. Once selected, they can be edited just the same like way points.

EHSD, bottom row, second button from left. Afaik, once created, its the same as a way point, just labeled as MRK 1,2... In DCS that is...i don't know about RL.

With no way points i was able to create only mark points and they can be edited just fine. Not sure what is the limit though...

Check the bindings...i just noticed that after the last patch, my SS left got a red color and doesn't work at all. Not from joystick button, nor from the keyboard. Though TDC down works...

Ok, i figured out what is going on ...in your case the map is not moving around, only the plane simbol, that causes the confusion. What you are doing is correct, but for some reason the map movement is not visible (but it is taken in consideration by the system). When you see the symbol moving around, the map is "moving" also, its just not visible. When you declick the DATA, the waypoint jumps, because the map together with the plane simbol recenters,as it should. Not sure if its clear, but that is your issue: the map is not moving on the screen. Find the reason for that...maybe try a repair. Good luck

I have no ideea what are you doing...but - i see you are on MP..how do you joined? Hot or cold? Did you aligned properly? Your selected waypoint seems to have no data...every coord is zero. Your selected waypoint is part of your FPlan or you just inserted? My suggestion is to first try it on SP. Follow the book...check Chucks guide, also Baltics training mission. And then try and figure out what is going on in MP.

Why are you insist on the DMT? Leave it alone. Set EHSD on left and that's all, start from there. Set moving map, press DATA, , set the waypoint you want to move, press POS, (press sensor select FWD), move the map with the TDC controls. When you happy with the new posititon, (de)click DATA to save it.

Maybe the bridge is "transparent" for the tpod...

Tough i agree with that part,lol, there was nothing for the Harrier in the recent patch, so maybe try a repair? Its working for me, but i checked only in an instant mission. And switch to IFA.

hey there, the app doesn't seem to read the new debriefing file...there is no progress after the first mission...?!

90% of the public doesn't care about realistic procedures so it would be wasted time (and money) in the production of the movie. We, the remaining 10%, will bitch about it at a beer, so its all good. Still, that part is my favorite, and at that time i watched the movie 3 times, just for that scene :smilewink:.
