  1. I'm local to the area, perhaps a DCS CFM meet will one day happen...
  2. I've been watching this thread for quite sometime. Are you planning on actually selling any of these or what? What's the status?
  3. That's what I was afraid of, thank you for the response Eddie!
  4. Is there a Voltmeter or Ammeter anywhere on the real world A-10c? How do the pilots monitor the output on there generators or batteries? I know with the 26v AC you can monitor by looking at the instruments on the panel to flag when a circuit is blown or disconnected but I cannot find anything for the batteries or generator output.
  5. Fast, low, and inverted.
  6. If you underestimate the capabilities of your enemy even before you start fighting you have already lost.
  7. Nice! I'm not upset in the slightest, I'd rather have a TACAN over a standard civil VOR receiver anyway. Much more accurate!
  8. ILS for the win. At least the F-5 has a Tacan, all hope is not lost for bad weather flying lol.
  9. I have been an advocate of the combat caravan since I joined the forums! +1
  10. This is just my opinion but, who am I to say what is and what isn't DCS. If a developer does the research and puts out a great product weather GA, or Military or whatever then let them. All that will happen is the community will grown in Aircraft, Members, and Developers. As a real world pilot I haven't ever really found a great general aviation flight sim anywhere, so part of me thinks it would be nice to have some of the aircraft I cut my teeth on in DCS. That in itself may bring many positive changes to the sim. It could also add a touch of realism, I.E. Having to alter flight plans and training arrangements because some lone Bonanza has wondered into the MOA your operating in, or perhaps it will make a more interesting TFR intercept mission.
  11. PM Sent
  12. Check Rudels location on his profile....沖縄県 i.e. Okinawa. If that's not a hint, I don't know what is.
  13. Hope all is going well, eagerly awaiting this product!
  14. If your ever interested in doing any PvP let me know I can get some folks together and we can have a little fun!
  15. I am currently in the process of creating a SFTI training syllabus, and will shortly be developing a Adversary Program for use in DCS. I am looking for pilots who have experience in study sims, and in particular extensive Air to Air and Air to Ground experience. The prospective pilots for this program should be well versed in the Su-27, MiG-29, MiG-21, and MiG-15 at a minimum. The F-5, F-18, and F-14 will be encompassed into this program shortly after there initial release. This is a focus on Naval Aviation and Combat Tactics, some use of the A-10, F-15, and various other aircraft should be expected. In a nutshell I am looking to build a class of instructors that can provide training, assessment, aviation requirements recommendations, research and development priorities for integrated strike warfare, maritime and overland air superiority, strike fighter employment, airborne battle management, Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR), Close Air Support(CAS), and associated planning support systems, to the Naval Aviation community within DCS. If anyone is interested in this please either message me on the forums, or join teamspeak3 @ DCM.teamspeak3.com look for "Destroyer 37" Thank You, Safe Flying.
  16. I am considering pre purchasing this module however I need more information on the Radar, what can you tell me about your Radar modeling belsimtek?
  17. The GNS 430 doesn't have the capability to display weather. The pictures above are terrain warning's and topography. Garmin didn't introduce aviation weather into its systems until late model 500's on the IFR GPS systems and the 396 on the VFR systems (if I recall correctly). LNAV and VNAV are what I'm expecting, but it would be nice if we could have the 430W and have the WAAS capability to shoot those LPV approaches, either way I am really looking forward to having it in the cockpit as an avid Garmin user now.
  18. Although I think this is a great idea, IIRC the position lights are more for aircraft that refuel behind the pilot, F-15/16 etc... Not sure how much help that would be for the Hog drivers but I do like the idea!
  19. Have to agree, Zero radial. Good eyes.
  20. Pushrod on a Wasp isn't it?
  21. In the case of CVW-1 in the DCS Mercenaries we have three callsigns. Dog ( VF-143 ) Shrike ( VFA-94 ) Falcon ( HSM-78 ) Hopefully we will have those callsigns in game! It really does!
  22. I agree bad investment, I'm afraid I won't be supporting Aviodev any longer. Best of luck.
