  1. Technically speaking, you shouldn't be looking outside anyway until your DA/DH depending on what your doing. The a-10 is an all weather aircraft, it is safe and efficient, in the right hands. Find ways to work around the so called short comings, instead of just saying its impossible or difficult.
  2. Well my ignorance proves true again, I looked and looked for another thread lol. Mods please close.
  3. Currently experiencing an altimeter anomaly in the mid 30 to 40 thousand feet range ,I have pitot heat on in the modules that support it. After clearing the upper limit of the range the altimeter comes back but is off typically by eight thousand feet or more. This problem is persistent in DCS modules and FC3 modules as well. Anyone else have these issues?
  4. Excellent idea! Mission Editor access in MP isn't necessary in my opinion, however a mission planner would be nice. But to stay on topic I do really like the storage box clicking idea!
  5. Heatblur, your team is seriously raising the bar for module development in DCS. Well done!
  6. Negative sir, as the HUD isn't certified for use in instrument conditions.
  7. The ability to add empty pylons on aircraft that have removable ones...IE F-18, F-5, etc. The current fix to this is to load up then press the sjet or emergency stores jettison. I would think this is a fairly simple and cheap addition to DCS.
  8. I've been doing some mission building as of late and the need or want has presented itself for individual lighted and unlighted helo pads (seperate from the four place FARP).
  9. Just tested another mission yesterday and it appears these issues still exist. Is there any fix planned? Maybe this thread should be moved to the bug section?
  10. Holy parachute bag!
  11. Thanks!
  12. Hey folks, I'm attempting to put a relatively accurate map together with close representations of Black Sea air defenses. One im stuck on at the moment is the relative location of the S-300 sites that were/ are on Crimea. Does anyone have any google earth images that show the locations?
  13. Whats even more interesting (to at least me) is that if you pan out and look to the north of that site, is what appears to be a base complex of some sort. Additional points of interest to the immediate south west and east. Cool find.
  14. Likely due to training timeline.
  15. As usual...
  16. Thirty One
  17. The book Roger Ball! may offer some insight into this subject...
  18. See ya there!
  19. Looking at some of the pictures on their facebook page I would speculate that an OH-58 variant is likely. Just my 2c.
  20. Man talk about bringing back memories...Lots of time in that type.
  21. Feature Request: The ability to turn on or off (IE NOTAM out of service) NAVAIDS. Something else I would like to see is the ability to jam GPS, essentially forcing an aircraft to use conventional navigation facilities or some other form of NAV. This would allow more mission designers to add another level of difficulty and realism to there mission.
  22. I am also interested in finding out if the WAAS is going to be implemented, as well as weather or not the VHF Comm and NAV radios will also interface with the system. And if WAAS is implemented can we also assume that airports in the region will also have RNAV, GPS, and/or GNSS approaches modeled?
  23. Never know man, never know.
  24. Glad I'm not the only one who thought DCS was now modelling shooting gloves...
