feature complete or not, I need in my hangar!

I was there... now I'm here!

I started saving since it was first announced and now... I'm ready (purchased today)! Also ED hinted at an F-16 and I already started saving for that too. I have been doing this since ED released DCS World version 1 and now I own everything... modules, campaign, terrains, everything. What can I say some people buy books, others by models, me I sim.

LOL... I too want to add these ringtones to my iPhone!

Imagine a Jester AI for the Huey, the L-39, Mi8, even the Yak-52... pretty much all two seat or more modules (except for you Hawk!); that would be very nice.

I want the Mirage F-1 so bad it hurts... The C-101 really makes me believe Aviodev will do an excellent job with the Mirage F-1. I know it's years away but I want it now! I can't help it.

XBox One Controller... no shame in that! I mapped everything I need including looking around! Everything else is keyboard.

Instant buy for me... this will allow me to have fully clickable planes on one side and non-clickable planes on the other! I will enjoy everything Eagle Dynamics has to offer.

I am a DCS Addict and I will buy absolutely anything they make... YES I am very excited about Modern Air Combat just as much as I am for the Yak-52, F-16, F-14 and who knows what else. The future is bright my friends and I have a sim for the rest of my life. If I am too tired to give a dam (Modern Air Combat). If I want to get real (DCS World)... Boots on the ground (Combined Arms). Having options is great!!! Now where is my wallet???

Where do I insert money for the Mirage F-1?

4 weeks... why not?.

Then it's been reconfirmed... I'm freaking out I tell you!

F-16 CONFIRMED!!! I my pants when I read today's DCS Weekend news. F-16 is confirmed... Somebody tell me where do I insert money! With the Huey, F-18, F-5, F-86 available and F-16, F-14, F-4, and Mirage F-1 in development, means that all my favorite airframes ever will be in DCS World. HOLLY $#!% I'm freaking out here... how will I ever sleep.

32 here with wife and three little demons... I only fly 1 hour per day after the kids go to bed, therefore my hot date tomorrow night is the F-18. Hopefully I will be able to do a complete walk around, full startup procedure, takeoff, fly around to familiarize myself, land, taxi, full shutdown procedure and return it to the crew chief.

"When I ride it into the battle or otherwise I am flying ninja around buildings - it acts fine. Like a broken in horse that knows how to act around gunshots. Steady and responsive." LOL... Could not have said it better myself!

How many of you deny the Windows User Agreement? What happens when you deny it? Windows installation is cancelled and you go and have a good day... Do you call Microsoft and ask them to change their terms? No... you deal with it.

These features are good for simulating owning and operating a "single" aircraft... Not particularly useful in a sim environment like DCS were you get a shiny new plane every time you get shot down. But if you want to take this approach seriously that would mean having an AI system keep track of all airframes generated ever and keeping track of (remembering) their stats no matter if they are being used by the player or AI Pilots... in actual time. I just can't see this happening specially on machines with limited resources.

Going back to 1.5 does not make sense... I tried doing that every time I got frustrated with 2.5 but going to 1.5 (although more stable) feel like being stuck in limbo or purgatory). I decided to stick with 2.5 and ride thru the bugs with ED.

My rig (Dell gaming laptop) is already maxed out at 32 GB of RAM so that explains why I never experienced these memory issues. If you have the cash and RAM slots upgrading your RAM is another way to go until ED releases the fix.

Not sure where this belongs but since I made the move to DCS 2.5 I found that editing the aircraft view file in MODS (to set the max FOV to 100) disables the module. Reverting it at 140 re-enables the module. Is this intentional?

I did not know him but I knew his work from day 1 of Lock On Modern Air Combat release date. His work has a huge impact on my quality of life and I hope his legacy lives on forever... R.I.P Igor.

Too much... just too much. When the F-18 was announced, I cried... now this! I will need a minute before I click on the icon to launch 2.5.

It is clear that the C-101 is getting much love from Aviodev and I can see it and appreciate it. I'm doubly excited about the F-1 as it is one if my favorite jets of all time. Aviodev has redeemed itself in my eyes and I solemnly pledge to support them and all their future projects. If I learned one thing from all the wait is that I much rather have a module in the works then no module at all even if final release takes years. These are jets that I may never see in real life let alone fly and to be able to experience them from a simulation point of view; I come to realize that taking forever or even baby steps in developing such aircraft for DCS is more than tolerable.
