I think most transport helos are useless right now until ED starts to add the ability to transport infantry,carry wounded soldiers and rescuing downed pilots.

I would love to see a fully modeled Nighthawk someday when DCS or some other third party gets some good documentation on it.But i wouldn't be too disappointed if we never get one because it's classified.

With todays update,i'm having trouble installing the new update.When i click on the Update DCS World icon.It detects for the new update but says DCS World is up to date.I know because the new SA-2 Guidline and the other units don't appear in the Encyclopedia,just last weeks update only.

I finally tried looking for a HDMI port for the graphics card and I found it:).Now it's not lagging anymore. Thanks for your help guys.

So can I put the HDMI cord from the motherboard into the GTX 1060 display port that's at bottom of it.

I think I may have found the problem,my monitor is not equipped with a display port as mine is just a regular Samsung office monitor with just a VGA and HDMI port. Do you guys think a gaming monitor will work better with the lagging problem.

Thanks for reply David, I'll remember that. Eventually I'll upgrade the GPU and the RAM later down the road when I can afford them,but right now I'm focused on learning the whole game from the manual,then eventually get a new SSD drive and Trackir.

Thanks for mentioning that,i don't have a Display Port cord.I just found it behind my desktop without noticing it:D.I have the HDMI Cable on my monitor hooked up to the motherboard.Should hooking up the display port to my Samsung Monitor help the lagging issue.

Okay,but the Nvidia control panel doesn't show up because the display is not connected to the GPU.

After reading about overclocking the processor,I think that may not be the best option since it comes with overheating to possibly destroying it. Is there any better options to fix it.

Where do I find the XMP profile located in the Windows 10 drive and by Video Card settings,do you mean the Nvidia control panel.:huh: I'm not very tech savvy when it comes to computers.

I had 49GB left on the SSD, probably from downloading Windows updates that added more MBs to my drive. So I had to uninstall some programs to make room. I still have lagging with just the Caucasus Map and the free aircraft, for example the buttons on the TF-51 take a minute to click on and the AI aircraft lag when taking off or landing and the canopy of the Mustang takes forever to close and open.

I just downloaded DCS World 2.5 too and I'm also having FPS issues. I just got a new gaming computer a week ago to download this and the free planes are both lagging when I do the training tutorials with them. I have the right requirements for it. A Intel 8700 CPU processor, 1060GTX graphics card, 16GB RAM and a 120GB SSD with Windows 10 on it. I notice the AI aircraft are slow when landing on the runway and doing the clickable buttons on the TF-51 take sixty seconds or a minute to click on. And the canopy is sluggish to close.

I only have just the Caucasus map and the Windows OS is on the SSD too. The D driver is the HDD drive.

It's all gone,i have 49GB left of 110GB left on my SSD.

Okay,i just deleted the folders from the Saved Games folder.Should this help when i reinstall DCS World 2.5.

Thanks for the replies but now I have a new problem. I uninstalled DCS World a couple of days ago and downloaded it again. Now it says I don't have enough disk space in the downloaded folder and need 52045MB when only 50190 are available. What does this mean.:(

Thanks for the reply,I have a 1920 x 1080 64Hz monitor so I might try altering the different screen resolution in DCS World and see if that helps.

Ok,mine is a Intel I7 8700K processor and a MSI 1060GTX driver. I hope this helps a little bit.

It's a 3.20 Ghz processor and i have two hard drives a C hard drive and a D drive which I don't know what it's for. I had DCS World folders on my C hard drive. My SSD is a SATA variant.

I recently downloaded DCS World 2.5 to my new Ibuypower Trace 940 gaming computer.It has Windows 10 with Intel I7 8th Gen core processor,Nvidia GTX 1060 4GB Graphics Card,16GB RAM and a 120GB SSD.I tried setting the graphics to low and medium,but it still has very bad FPS.Is my GPU not powerful enough to play it.

Yes,it does have 120GB SSD.Can i upgrade the SSD to my gaming computer so i can get more hard disk space in it just like upgrading the Graphics Card and RAM.
