I don't know if we'll get one from ED but from a third party probably.More likely ED will add the Black Widow as an AI asset for WWII at least since they would fit with the Normandy Map since an actual P-61 squadron was based there.

I think ED has a lot more priorities on there plate with Dynamic campaign and other AI Aircraft among other things so i don't think we will see them any time soon.

I would love the Lightning because i researched the French ALG airfields in Normandy and quite a few P-38 squadrons were stationed there for the Overlord campaign along with the Hawker Typhoon and B-26 Maruder which are still missing as AI Assets.

I'll pass on this plane but i do want a La-5FN or Mig-3 for my Russian WWII garage.

I hope they add Orly Airport in Paris as that was used by the Luftwaffe as an airbase.Also the map is lacking some more AI Assets,we still need the Typhoon,P-51B Mustang & F-6 Mustang,B-26 Marauder,P-38 and a P-61 Black Widow alongside more Luftwaffe air assets since they were at least stationed at one point at the French ALGs in the Normandy region.

Yeah,don't forget RAF Thorny Island,Westhampett and Croydon Airport too.Will Urga finally add the cities of Portsmouth and Southampton since they were very important areas for the Royal Navy and Supermarines factory for the Spitfire.

Ok,i hope they add more RAF airfields as well as French ones like Orly Air Base as well as the cities of Portsmouth and Southampton.

So it's just the updated version of Normandy i already have because i don't have the Channel map.Will the updated map include the English Channel region or is it still going to be a separate map that i have to buy.

So let me get this straight,the Normandy 2 map will include the updated Channel map too for 14 dollars since i already have the original Normandy map.

Yeah,don't forget to add the civilian airports too as that's where many military and civilian aircraft were manufacted between WW2 to the end of the Cold War.Lockheed,Northrop,North American Aviation/Rockwell,Douglas/Mcdonnell and Convair/General Dynamics all had factories there at one point.

Since IndiaFoxEcho is doing primarily Italian aircraft,i wonder if they plan to make WW2 Italian military aircraft too.That would definitely add to and expand WW2 along with Japan and Russia too.

Is this the last of the surprise friday maps and modules list or is there still more coming.

Yeah it would be nice to see both variants modeled as the aircraft had a long lifespan from the end of WW2 to well into the supersonic jet age.There's even an flying Electronic Warfare EA-1 Skyraider warbird if i'm not mistaken.I'm sure there's ton of information out there on all the different variants the US Navy,Marine Corps and Air Force flew.

Yeah,it would be nice to hear feedback from the developers on this fourm.I would like to know if they are going to make an AD-4 or an H model or make both like the F-14 Tomcat from Leatherneck sim.

It would also be nice to add Engineer,Recon and Signals infantry also like for building,sandbags,FOBs,barbed wire and setting up communications too.

I'm sure someone will make one at some point.But the variant were getting is from the Vietnam era so more likely default early 60's to early 70's white\gray US Navy colors and Camo US Air Force from from the vietnam era.The Korean war models were AD-1 to AD-4 or A-1A to A-1G

It's great were getting a Vietnam era Skyraider.Do they plan on making an Korean AD-1/4 variant too

Wow,i guess fridays are the best day to hear news of something new like maps or aircraft modules coming.I wonder how there going to model multi-crew with this transport but it does lead hopefully to more types of aircraft and helos like more transports and even bombers and even recon only type aircraft.

It did see combat briefly with the French Air Force during the Suez Canal Crisis of 1956.And we are getting a map of Egypt in the future.

The F-84 Thunderstreak could be possible with the right documentation and research that ED did for the P-47D Thunderbolt.Plus it's only combat use was with the French Air Force during the Suez Canal Crisis of 1956 which is great for the upcoming Sinai Map.

Okay,i forgot about the White Swan bomber too

+1 For RAF Beaulieu and RAF Thorney Park for additional airfields.I hope Urga adds the cities of Southampton,Cowes Isle of Wight and Portsmouth for the updated map if there going to include London and Paris to the map in the future.Because the English coast is rather dull and lifeless.It would also make interesting missions for German aircraft to target the Spitfire factory and Royal Navy base in Portsmouth.

They have the FH 105MM FH18 and Pak 40 AT Gun and Wespe SPG added to the assets pack recently so i think will get more in the future.The V-2 should be added to it,as well as the Hummel SPG,Grille SPG and Sturmtiger too along with more field arty for American,British,and German forces

Don't forget TU-142 Bear and SH-60 Seahawk also need an update too

I did the repair DCS World and it seemed to work as i tried it again and they showed up and fired just fine.
