Apparently Razbam has plans to make the F-102 Delta Dagger later down the road since they plan to bring all there FSX/P3D models to DCS standard. So it's possible they could do a Delta Dart since their a little similar to each other. But with different engines and a larger fuselage than the Deuce.
-
I think that's great to start out.I wish that Red Wing Simulations NH90 project would've done the same too.P3D & FSX would be a good starting tool to learn building aircraft and helicopters models before going into more complex high fidelity DCS modeling.
-
Any news on this aircraft,it's been awhile.
-
Well i would like to see AI civilian air traffic come to life as well as military air traffic too. There's hardly any air traffic at Nellis AFB,the Caucasus map or any other airport from watching some videos on Youtube.I wanna see some other aircraft and helicopters flying in and out of those airfields.Like waiting behind some fighters on the taxiway at an airbase or holding for civilian aircraft landing at an civil airport. As for flyable civilian planes,i wouldn't mind seeing a fully modeled Boeing 737 carrying passengers to Area 51 on a Janet flight mission or flying a general to Nellis AFB aboard a Beech King Air.
-
While both aircraft are from the same era.The Mirage IIICs arch rivals were earlier generation Mig-21s like the MF and PFM variants. Those are the ones that the Israeli Air Force encountered in the Six Day War.Maybe Razbam can eventually make an earlier variant of the Fishbed someday like the MF or PF models. Those jets also saw action in Vietnam too.

I thought most Marine attack aircraft were stationed on land bases only while fighter aircraft for the Marines were usually sharing deck space on the carriers with other naval fighters.
-
Okay thanks for the answer.Prowler111 from Razbam said their going to be making a fully modeled A-4 Skyhawk sometime in the next couple of years. So I'll probably buy that when it comes out.
-
Flying an E-2 Hawkeye or C-2 Greyhound would be fun to fly with friends in multiplayer. There isn't any good payware models of the E-2 or the Greyhound for FSX or P3D.So a fully modeled Hawkeye or it's COD equivalent for DCS would be an interesting seller.By the way, does anyone know of any good cockpit pictures of the E-2 or C-2 because there's not very many of them on the internet.

A UAV would go good in a Combined Arms battle. You could use it to monitor enemy troop movements and tanks among other things.

Add a few airports to the NTTR map
Angelthunder replied to VTJS17_Fire's topic in DCS Core Wish List
I wonder if they'll eventually expand the map to include other military and civilian airports.Like the Yuma MCAS/Int Airport, because were already getting the AV-8B Harrier from Razbam and would be great to get some practice on some bombing ranges near there. -
Since i've seen no more updates for 1.5 or 2.0.Does that mean we'll get the 2.5 update in a couple of months. With nothing else added for awhile.Or will we still get aircraft and bug fixes in between now and the merge to 2.5.Also,with the added airports to NTTR,are you guys expecting civilian aircraft to be added as AI or are you going to allow 3rd parties to make civilian models someday in the future.
-
Razbam is already planning the A-6 Intruder along with the A-7E/D Corsair II for DCS World after the Harrier. But I don't think will be getting a Vietnam map anytime soon.As for the Skyhawk,I hope they'll add a carrier capable A-4 to go with the A-4M.
-
Thanks Prowler111.I would love to fly the USMC version.Any plans for a naval carrier variant also.Like the Charlie model or a fully modeled payware E/F version to go with it.Those would go great with a Vietnam map someday.
-
I was wondering if you still plan to make this aircraft in the future because I saw it mentioned in your future development plans a couple of years ago along with the F-4 Phantom II and a F-100 Super Sabre. Are they still on your roadmap or have you scrapped them.
-
Well i can see the RW NH90 being a risky project to develop since that helicopter is still just entering service with many European countries,so it is probably still very classified. But the I-16 seemed to be well developed on it's way to 3rd party status,so i was just guessing to Silver Dragons reply above me,about why the developer hasn't posted in a while.
-
I think ED is not in the mood to license anymore 3rd parties right now since their busy with the 2.5 release.I think this project is most likely dead since we haven't heard anymore news about it,just like what happened to Red Wing Sims NH90 project.:no_sad:
-
Any chance you guys at Razbam are going to be adding this Harrier variant in the future after your done with the AV-8B NA/B+ and the GR 7/9 variants.Since VEAO Simulations dropped it from their roadmap awhile ago, maybe you guys could finally develop it to add to your awesome collection.
-
Well,if you go to the Razbam forums. They had the A-4 as a planned model in the future since they already made one for FSX along with the A-6 & A-7 that were getting also for DCS.So I have no doubt they'll make it,but not for at least a couple more years since there already busy developing the Harrier and the Mirage III.
-
Well, just wait until ED and other 3rd parties implements fully modeled controllable Bombers, transports, reconnaissance, drones,ASW,SAR aircraft, tanks & APCs,vehicles,subs,destroyers,carriers,battleships,suface-to-air missles & ground artillery and maybe infantry someday.:D
-
If this is going to be a free release. Will you guys contact ED to have it put into the free DCS World 1.5 download along with the Su-25T and TF-51 Mustang.Or is it going to be downloaded on your website only.:huh:Because even though i said awhile back that i wasn't going to buy your non PFM/ASM modeled Skyhawk.I wouldn't mind getting it for free from the DCS World 1.5/2.5 download. So that way i can fly with it awhile until some other 3rd party eventually makes a fully modeled Skyhawk someday.
-
While i'm sure we will get a AI modeled Hawkeye for the USS Nimitz DLC next year.I wouldn't mind seeing a fully modeled E-2 for multi-crew ops someday, like a payware FSX release.Controlling the AWACS radar wouldn't be too similar to having fully playable ATC,kinda like how VATSIM does it.And it would be funny to watch players try to park the aircraft on a carrier without crashing into other planes.:D
-
I hope we also get AI SH-60 Seahawks and E-2 Hawkeyes and C-2 Greyhounds for COD delivery with the DLC USS Nimitz.
-
For a good multi-player experience with a bomber like this.I hope ED would make at least four positions for the B-17.Have two players be in the cockpit fly the aircraft or create smart AI to fly the aircraft to it's target.similar to autopilot. Then a third player to use the Norden Bombsight for attacking targets.I would use a fourth player to man one of the guns while the rest utilizes AI firing back at incoming enemy planes or players not flying the aircraft to man the guns. However,if their was only one person manning a gun station,i would create the ability to switch gun stations using keyboard shortcuts as the players former position is replaced by the AI.I think this option could work for future multi-crew aircraft.

RED WING Simulations: NH-90
Angelthunder replied to Silver_Dragon's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Sorry about the news, but at least we still have other third parties in this fourm that hopefully look forward to getting their aircraft and helos to 3rd party status. -
Well Polychop is thinking about making the Horton Ho IX and that aircraft never even left the blueprint stage. So anything is possible for DCS.I wouldn't mind buying a fully modeled Tigershark. You could make certain liveries of nations that bought the F-16 or flew the F-5 as potential customers for the F-20.
