Http is just as bad I'm getting 1.2MBs on http. I've just cancelled download and installing map again because it said I didn't have terrain. I've opted to just install one module not the 8 or 9 I own and it's still going to take many hours. This really isn't good they need to come up with something that stops this. I've owned DCS for a long time and this is the worst experience I've had of installing a sim that I've know.

What will happen if I just cancel the download now? Will it make me reinstall all the modules at a later date when I can be bothered with this? This is going so slow it's almost not downloading. My upload speed is like 493.00 KBs and download 0.7MBs

@grunf - I don't have the login details to their site. I just purchased because I thought it was going to be a part of DCS and I could activate it there. I'm downloading the modules again now at snails pace. By the looks of the download rate it's going to be about 4 hours and then God only knows what it's going to say when I try to start the Nevada Map again. This has taken nearing on 4 hours now and I wanted to finish the rest of my windows install tonight. Download speed is 0.7 MBs. I really want to just cancel the Download at this point but I'm not sure what will happen if I do that.

Well that green loading bar is taken an awful long time to load whatever it's loading. It ticked all my Modules to download again.

@Buzzles - I'm telling you I'm having to download all the modules again for Nevada. I'm doing it now. I've just followed what I thought was a simple install. 1.5 DCS all modlues all activations. Now when I start 2.0 it asks me to download them all again and no doubt activate them all again. It said I didn't have the terrain and I thought it would just ask ne for the Nevada serial but it didn't. It wants me to download all Modules again. I bought the Hawk of the devs site because i thought it was going to be integrated into DCS which it has been. I never knew I had to write down the serial for just one Jet.

I can't seem to activate the Hawk or Nevada map now. I found the other serials in my account but the Hawk isn't there and I'm having trouble installing Nevada. Isn't there an easier way to install all this stuff? It seems a bit over complicated? I've been on with it now for the best part of three hours. I've just activated all the modules for the Caucaus Map and now I'm having to do the same thing for the Nevada map. I've also got to download them all again for the Nevada map? which takes the best part of half hour. Why am I having to download them all again for Nedada and activate them?

I have just reinstalled DCS World after deactivating all my modules and doing a clean install of Windows 10. After I finished installing the maps I then saw a screen with all the ticks in to install my modules I purchased. But now these are asking for my serial keys that I haven't written down? I thought they just installed by recognising my computer? Please don't tell me I'll be expected to purchase all these again? Where do I find my serial keys to all these modules? Thanks!

I'm just wondering if I can install DCS World to a second SSD and if it will cause any problems. I want to install it on my D: drive so what would I type as the path to get it to install on that? Can I just make a folder in the D: drive called DCS and point it at that or is there something more I will have to do? Thanks!

I'm not sure where to post this but I'm hoping someone can help me out. I have a large TV that I use to play DCS World, but I have problems with Trackir because it's to high up on the television. Someone suggested placing the Trackir camera behind me, but does anyone know how I would go about setting this up? When I move my head down it goes up which is the opposite way?

Where on earth is the zoom key for the Oculus Rift? I looked under Ui Layer as someone said it was there, but I don't see it. All I see under Ui Layer is Multiplayer chat options.

Yeah I gathered that's what you have to do, but where exactly is the key or keys to map the zoom function in VR? Someone told me it was under the Ui layer, but all I see is multiplayer chat under the Ui layer options. You would think it would be under VR options but it isn't and I can't find it anywhere. I've been sat here the last hour looking for it. So much for having any fun flying tonight.

I have asked this question sometime ago and was told it was somewhere it was not. So can someone please tell me where the zoom key is when you are using the Oculus Rift? Surley this shouldn't be that hard to find when using VR? Thanks!

I have to agree with Mad Dog. I was going to purchase the Spitfire, but I'm going to wait for the Normandy map now. The Nevada map was put back so many times, I just don't want to end up with any more modules that don't suit the environment. Yes it might be good to learn the Spitfire, but I purchased all the other World war 2 aircraft and haven't bothered with them because of the map situation. I thought there might be news with the release of the Spitfire about Normandy, but no news from past experience could mean we are waiting months. I'm not bothered by the wait times, but I might as well purchase the Spitfire when there is a proper map to fly it on though. I thought I read somewhere that they were concentrating on getting the Normandy map finished, is this correct?

@bart - Yeah you're right these modules don't come along often.

What is $39.99 converted to British pounds? I've looked online and get different prices LoL. Argggg Dollar to the pound is massive now $39.99 is £32.13, but $49.99 shows £40.17? I'm confused.

Why can't I use bonus on Pre-Order of the Spitefire? Also when is the WorldWar 2 map released because that's a deciding factor whether or not to Pre-Order this?

Thanks for the replies. I think I get what you mean, but just to clear something up. So the A10 sees the enemy aircraft on it's RWR because the enemy aircraft has it's radar on searching for aircraft? So, if the enemy aircraft switched it's radar off the A10 wouldn't see it on it's RWR, is this correct?

I'm new to flight sims and I'm a bit confused about the A10s radar. The thing I want to know is do fighter jets see you on their radar if they haven't scanned you with their radar first? So say you were behind them and they are scanning forwards. Also, does an enemy aircraft only show up on the A10s radar when the enemy aircraft has painted the A10? I ask because the A10 seems to see every missile launch? I know such terms like painted might not be the best way to describe this but I'm new to this and I hope you know what I mean. cheers!
