Purchased the Persian Gulf map but it's not in the terrain module manager? I have beta installed, but it doesn't show up? Should I contact Credit Card company to get a refund or is there a way I can download this new map? Cheers!

Would it be difficult to add your own? Isn't it just some sound files that get played? Has nobody modded the sound files? I did hear something about ATC been updated, but that was sometime ago now..

I really wish they would update the radio chatter to something like Falcon BSM. I just think it sounds a bit robotic and having the same voice all the time makes it a bit less convincing. I've always hoped they would update this, but is there even any talk of them doing this? It shouldn't be that hard to do should it? Or couldn't we somehow add our own radio chatter?

Are they looking to fix this because I used to love flying night missions..

I currently have 16 GB of RAM, but would I benefit a lot more from having 32GB and how would this benefit me? Thank you!

When I watched the Wags video on the caucasus map it looks nothing like it does in my game. So it would help if we know what setting they are using including season and time of day?

This is how mine looks and I've tried repair and some other stuff. I have to say though it still looks bad. Especially the trees been bright and looking like the OP pics.

From all the videos I've seen I have to say that my Sim looks very bad. Is this how it's supposed to look and if not what could be the problem? My settings are mostly on high. Damn I tried to take a screen shot in game but when I try to paste it using paint it just shows the DCS start logo? I've tried taken 5 screen shots now and it just does the same thing? Anyways the old grahpics look better then this so there must be something wrong the trees look horrible.

I can see you can now pre-order the F18 for $59.00, but how long will the pre-order price last? I was maybe looking to purchase this at the end of February when I have the cash, but will the pre-order price have changed by then?

I've read all the ways to install the Normandy map but why does it never work for me? I seem to have the same problems every time I come to down load a map for DCS and think they need to implement something that is much easier. The Module Manager doesn't work for me I don't see the map in it and the work around has now decided to stop at 75% and freeze my PC. I work with computers for a living and this install is a nightmare tbh. I had the same problem with the Nevada Map after reinstalling windows 10 sometime ago and now I'm having the same problem with this map?

Am I missing something here? I see the write up about the patch, but where do I download the Normandy Map and assets pack?

Thanks for the quick response I really appreciate it. I was used to the old way of disabling Tacview. Now I'm getting back into DCS, it's all new to me. Thanks again!

How do you disable Tacview? I don't want it recording all the time but for the life of me I can't find a disable option? I click on the Record option but it doesn't say disable DCS World?

I agree. I also find it makes some switches in the A10C difficult to use. I tried turning the knob for the flight plan and it took me 5 mins to move it because it would move at first. I also spent a while trying to turn on the EGI switch.

I fly with the A10C on the Nevada map but to me the scale seems off. What I mean by that is the A10C seems much bigger compared to the landscape. I know in Flyinside you can adjust the planes size, but you can't do that in DCS. Does anyone else get this where the scale seems off?

How long does the pre purchase last for the Normandy map and assets pack? I havn't been paid yet but I don't want to miss the deal.

@shagrat - Unfortunately, I don't. I got a corrupt OS and thought it best to delete everything and start again.
