What? What are you talking about. We flew on Open Conflict and you saw me flying only high and not in the valleys. Your tacview will show you. It's not the topic though but it only oeuvre how you just don't give a damn about facts sources, data. When you say "it just doesn't sound right to me" it becomes pointless to show you facts. A dedicated FC3 pilot complains about realism. How ironic... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

where did you get that from? A question, do you fly the Mirage? have you ever get a 60km kill? I have never even got a 20 nm. It is easy to throw wrong facts on the faces of people but we are used that FC3 players always complain about their missiles. You can address this complaint to ED, they can make the planes even more arcade if it pleases you.

It is a realistic and a real system Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No the default mode ist not set on but the D2M switch is also set by default to off. Even if you didn't disable it in the settings you still don't have to switch on in the pit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Those guys who wants to forbid DDM from the module should also ask ED and Belsimtek to remove the arcade option on the A10C and the other. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Viggen Announcement on Friday 23 Dec
TomCatMucDe replied to TomCatMucDe's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
Before, Steam was doing regional prices which were cheaper in lower income countries. Now this is not done anymore, in my opinion there isn't any reason to stay with Steam anymore. But even though, if you see a better price or a discount on steam you can buy the module and use it in standalone. Not the other way around. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Viggen Announcement on Friday 23 Dec

should be rebaptized: the Leakggen on presale today! -
Nice try to try to want to be disrespectful to Germans but as you see I am NOT! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

so having the Mirage flying in Caucasus is not a simulation? It never participated in any war there. Problbably it never even flew there. The Mirage can carry D2M, it is as irrealistic to mount it as to have a war scenario with the Mirage or the Viggen in Caucasus.
-
friend, you either have no clue or you have double standards. The Gromms were NEVER installed on mig 21. even their employment is a guess work and probably NOT realistic!
-
Absolutely yet. The hardware wasnt mounted. it is possible to mount it. we dont know if an air force did mount i but they have the possibility to do it. So you can easily create a scenario in DCS where an Air Force to do it in an imaginary war (all wars and war scenarios in DCS are imaginary and you are free to imagine that a compatible hardware was mounted or not!)
-
That's your own opinion. The real Mirage 2000 C had the DDM feature. It was only never mounted by the French Air Force. If they mount it tomorrow will you sir allow it in DCS?

Viggen Announcement on Friday 23 Dec
TomCatMucDe replied to TomCatMucDe's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
From what Cobra wrote there, I understand that it is an anouncement / pre purchase and not a release. -
they were much lower than you? it wasnt a dogfight, was it?
-
Is it a serious post or trolling? Did you look at the detection area? It's for manpads not for dogfighting! I had dogfights with it and i was never warned. Simply because 99% of the time the guys dogfighting you are never much lower than you to be within the coverage area. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

About competition (a 'dear Leatherneck')
TomCatMucDe replied to scaflight's topic in Heatblur Simulations
A fair question. The Mig21 is an excellent module. But is it the best module? I don't think so. Belsmitek has overtaken the Mig with their F5. And when I say the best I talk mainly about realism of the module. There is no guesswork on the F5, nothing in the particular version is added to the game that is not in the real deal. On the other hand, Mig21 never had Groms. I doubt that the way they are employed is also realistic, but well. Then there is the radar which can see everything in 30km even small contacts. You have the R3R which has been artificially improved for gameplay reasons. he calibration of the compass that should be done only on the ground and not during the flight, the pneumatic system, I can press the brakes, leave flaps up button on, and the gear lever up and I don't lose pressure. many of the switches don't work, especially on the additional pods... The FM of the mig is very good, but is not as accurate as the F5's. There a lot of other details that has been modeled in the F5 and not the Mig Now I love the Mig 10000s over the F5. I fly it almost daily. But it is not the best module anymore. To me, It is a fact. I have to be fair though, it's their first module while Belsimtek has been around for far longer. I'm sure they will step up their game with the Viggen and F14. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
Nothing to add. These are also my observations. I hope it will be fixed soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

True, LNS have the best texturing, not the best quality nor the most realistic modules. -
Yes, the R60M on Mig21 is in a very bad state currently. I hardly can aquire F5s with it even when i m on their 6 and close. Unfortunately, LNS doesnt seem to care about the Mig anymore and arent fixing it. I understand they put full focus on the Viggen but so do other Devs and still support their current modules... Belsimtek and ED are good examples.
-
None of the above. An F4 would be nice but it is probably not available either.
-
why are you so sure that there will be a pre release?
