WinterH, thanks for the reasonable and fair arguments. A few quick points: 1. in all modern jets there will be guesswork here and there. I am sure all devs will have to do it in some systems when we get more modern stuff. Look at ED, they are asking the community for Infos about the F18. What will they do when they dont get the wanted Infos? Stop the module? of course they will do guess work. Razbam guys are just too honest and communicative and not really into the master plan marketing stuff. 2. The damage model improved and is now better than the F5. Which can easily survive a 530D in the face. The Mirage now dies with the first missile. 3.The flight model is not perfect but quite good. However, because they are open about it we have the impression that it is not realistic. However, it is not worse than the others. Look how the FM of the Mig changed and continues to change. 4.D2M is not equipped but is "equipable". their choice to do so is debatable, but I dont think it is dramatic at all. The A10 can carry 6 mavericks and can change laser code in MFD, the Mig21 has Groms and has a CCIP computer, the P51 has 30 mm cannons... all unrealistic features but no immersion killers, in my opinion.

you will always have eternal complainers. If the devs hold the product until its 100% finished people will complain not having it a bit earlier eevn if it is not complete (like me). if they give it before you will have others complaining why is it out before finished. In any case, the Mirage is an a very good state now. I fly almost only the Mirage and the Mig21, and they are now both at the same quality level. Both are not 100% complete, they are probbaly at 98%

i think they will port the A-7 from FSX like they did with the Mirage. I am very glad they do this. I expect it to be a faster module to develop, faster than the Harrier or the Mirage

I understood you. i just wanted to stress that it would be perfect with the F14. :) I respect those who prefer the Tucano though. I just gave my own opinion. I personally wasnt excited at all to see them announce the Tucano.

exactly, only the pitch. This doesnt allow the computer to fully take the control of the plane like the Mirage. Therefore, you cant compare both birds. The mirage in this regard is comparable to the F16.

The bug happens randomly. I dont use saved loadout but I do see it sometimes. After landing and rearming, or respawning, it suddenly vanishes. It's hard to reproduce it.

You are right about almost everything but not the last point. How do you consider the navigation simplified? in FC3 you cycle through waypoints, you dont have such thing in Mig21. You have RSBN, ARC transponders and you have to calculate by yourself intercept cources, angle deviations and so on... There is absolutely no simplification what so ever.

Actually the only FBW plane in DCS ist the Mirage. The F15 and Flanker are not FBW.

Hi, First I want to thank you for this fun and very stable server! After flying a few days in Mirage on it, I would like to give some feedback and suggestions if that's ok. They are only 2 points :) 1. Could you please seperate the AWACS Radio channel from the ATCs? So they dont interrupt / spam each other 2. Could you please set waypoints to the Mirage? Especially for Bullseye and eventually some ground targets and bases? So we dont have to enter them manually Cheers for the tremendous work!

Yes. I did this several times. Yesterday a guy did it to me. He outmaneuvered both 530 and both shots were bellow 7 and 4 nm. I did everything right but he did it well. He didn't break the lock, he simply maneuvered the missiles. I can send you the tacview Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
