  1. No. Folks, read again the opening post at least! 2.2 will become obsolete. 1.5.8 OP will update to 2.5 OP. Later the 1.5.8 release will update to 2.5 release.
  2. That's how I understand it as well!
  3. GBU12 with self lazing???
  4. So it was indeed 2017 release... to you [emoji2] lucky man! I’ll keep itching Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. hey Nick, Back in May 2015, you were very optimistic about 2016 launch of the Tomcat as well and trashed me when I said that I expect it in 2017 (see, even I was too optimistic) the discussion page here :) https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2585598&highlight=2017#post2585598
  6. I’m not sure if it either. I remember Wags saying that Steam doesn’t allow Beta DLCs. I take his word for that. Either steam changed their rules or the devs officially inform steam that these are released DLCs. They still can add additional features like the case of the harrier that you mentioned. Being out of beta doesn’t mean improvements and additional features stop. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Probably the devs state them as non beta so steam allow them on the store. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. 1. Cleared. 2. Steam gets a percentage of every sale so yes it’s less revenue for them if you chose to use steam. Of course, steam must be supported because many won’t buy at all if there wasn’t steam. In fact I discovered DCS on steam and bought my first modules there and then migrated to the stand alone. 3.1. Well no, there are long weeks between launches of modules on the stand alone and steam . But if you find the delay acceptable, there is no harm to wait I agree. 3.2. It could be that there are plenty of features that aren’t supported by ED. But that means that there are no advantages of steam over stand alone. There is a major disadvantage which is the unnecessary delay. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I guess he was too excited about the release that day that he couldn’t control himself and write that. I don’t think anything happened to any in the team but fact is we won’t get it in 2017. We will surely get a great quality module. The missed deadline will be forgiven. At least for me.
  10. Agree that there is still plenty to be coded and a workload for long months. And yes they don’t want it to coincide with the Hornet launch, but that either won’t be done before long months. Which one will come first will remain a mystery.
  11. 1. What kind of discrimination are you talking about? Steam doesn’t allow beta DLCs. Point. 2. You are free to want to stick to steam, just for your information, ED or third party devs get less money if you buy their products on steam rather than stand alone. You are to not care of course. 3. What does steam bring other than waiting longer than the others? You can lunch DCS from Steam as an external game.
  12. I’ll push “buy this module” and I won’t look how much. And to be fair this one deserves more than 60$. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. They won’t tell how much it will cost before they give an early access date. It’s been like this with all ED modules. It won’t change now.
  14. Instead of asking ED to bend their rules and declare a product released while it is beta in reality, why don’t you just move to stand alone DCS and get it from day one if you can’t wait? I just don’t understand this.
  15. We won’t get the F14 in 2017 as promised but I hope we get the road to release instead. In 2017 I mean :)
  16. count with me. No Harrier till the Mirage is finished. I have heard a lot of promises and seen too little.
  17. Fully agree. It was obvious to me that 2017 was never realistic even a year ago. We can have either quality or a rushed product. You can hardly have both.
  18. seriously? quoting the 2km long opening post?
  19. Yes it’s sad that it won’t come now but look at his trumemdous work and quality. It’s ok if they have a delay. We should learn to manage our expectations not to be disappointed. I personally expect this mi 2018. But I have no doubt that this will be the best module in DCS quality wise. It even beats ED and Belsimktek’s
  20. Amazing!!!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. They promised an update very soon so let’s see. I personally doubt it will come this year but it’s for sure very very close. Anyways, I have full trust in the quality that will be delivered with this module, so IF there is a delay, it’s totally “forgiven” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    For Zeus

Zeus is very responsive on the Harrier thread, unfortunately not so about the Mirage. CptSmiley said he will give him feedback about the unhappiness of many customers about the system bugs and incompletion of the Mirage. So far he doesnt seem to care much to be honest. I did a mistake buying an early alpha from Razbam. I learned my lesson.
  23. exactly
  24. you are doing this all over the forum. ok we got it, you dont care about quality products, you dont want any criticism to any dev or even people reminding devs about bugs. Move on. if you dont like a thread just dont open it.
  25. Range is life in SEAD. In that regard the Su-25T is a far superior SEAD platform. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
