Some more discoveries. I suspect that my right toe brake pedal on my Saiteks may have been introducing the pull to the right. After a complete failure of my right toe brake, the F-15 taxis straight and true. The take off is also normal. I am using the W key for brakes. Unscientific but there it is for what it is worth.

I may as well weigh in here. My F15 pulls to the right while taxiing. NO crosswind and feet off of the rudder pedals. Axis centered at the neutral position . It does this in 1.5 and 2.0. Prior to the latest updates I have had no issue with the airplane doing this. This also translates into very erratic take off directional control issues. i have never had a reason to turn the nose wheel steering off in the past. Usually directional control on the ground has been very acceptable during taxi and takeoff. There have been past problems with the F15 after updates in the recent past. I think they "fixed" it again.

You probably remember this. On a VFR chart the course you draw from point A to point B is referenced to true north. The course you fly (no wind) is a magnetic course determined by local magnetic variation. Your directional gyro is set by matching it to your magnetic compass. For best accuracy steady state flight or stopped on the ground. This is very basic private pilot ground school stuff. IFR charts are all magnetic. I hope that this is a little help. Hi everyone, I have managed to get the Mirage sound mod and Starway's 2.4 map to work in OvGME but I cannot seem to get the Nav Lights fix for the Mirage to work. It doesn't seem to unzip properly. (I am still learning) Any help or thoughts would be nice. those nav lights are awful.

Just got a new computer and when I was preparing to reinstall JSGME I stumbled onto OvGME. It looks as though if one is not using JSGME then all is well when installing Mods with OvGME. I was using "_Mods" as a location for my mods. Does this work in OvGME as well? Sounds stupid I know but when it comes to downloading and installing I can screw anything up. Thanks.

Greetings, I just bought a new computer in order to enjoy the wonderful visual work put into the new sims. Being an undergraduate in all things having to do with files in Windows, I just downloaded a fresh copy of DCS 1.5 (stable). Got that up and running and then downloaded a fresh version 2.0 and NTTR. I installed the Mirage and the F-15 into 2.0 and when starting a flight in the F-15 I had no control response other than the airbrake. I then tried the free flight mission in instant action in the Mirage and the airplane was completely out of control (all of the fly by wire stuff was correct). I then ran a repair of 2.0 No luck. The only thing that has changed from my original computer setup is the version of 1.5 where I was running the Open Beta. Any thoughts would be welcome as 2.0 is unusable. I have other issues with Falcon BMS but one thing at a time. Best to you all.:joystick:

I can't get the TDC slew rate under control. It has been this way for the last two updates. This is the case for the latest 2.0 update as well. I have messed about with curves but with not any luck. Is anyone else experiencing this or have some curves thet would like to share? Using TM Warthog with button one set for TDC control. Other than the viloent rotation rates after the latest update, the Mirage just keeps getting better. Still learning the jet though. Thanks!:joystick:

Hi Hollywood. A quick question please. I have been using Voice Attack for a few months so I have several aircraft profiles setup. If I install Vaicom should I disable or delete these VA profiles first? Thanks.

INS Key Binds I disabled the INS Key Binds mod and doing so solved the problem. Thanks for the help. Too bad really as using the num pad to insert data into the INS was kind of nice.

Not in my HOTAS I have the selection you mention in 2.0 but not in 1.5 (all latest updates) under the HOTAS menu. So for me the question remains, how do you designate a target for CCRP employment in 1.5? All in all Razbam has a great product. I think I will put it on jacks until the next update however. Just too frustrating for now.

Is this a universal problem or just occurring randomly? My slew controls work properly in the F-15 btw.

INS Key Binds HI Rlaxoxo, Just a little confused. Is there a more recent file for the keybinds than the file you show here. Also is there a list of the keys which you have bound to the INS? Thanks for your efforts for the community and I have enjoyed your videos very much. Regards

Knee Board Conundrum Hello Mr. Grizzly, First, I think this is a great mod. Second, it would be better if I could get it work. Here is my progress so far. Built a knee board for the P-51. It works. there is my check list and there is the modified Flight Manual. There is my Dynamic briefing pages. Built a knee board for the M-2000C. No check list. No AFM. Just Dynamic briefing pages. Built a knee board for the F-5E. No check list. No AFM. Just Dynamic briefing pages. Built a knee board for the F-15. I created just a check list. It worked. I have been careful to import only PDF files. I started running the mod NOT as an administrator. Selecting options would shut down the program. I switch to run as an adimin. Everything seemed to be working, so O proceeded to build the aforementioned knee boards. Also, with the exception of the P-51 none of my AFM's appears to be modified when I look at the relevant file in the program. I know that this is just a hobby for all of us so, please accept this post as constructive in nature. I any solutions from you follow then so much the better. Many thanks.

Just thought that I would echo the problem The Jay15 is experiencing. While trying to aero brake it is very difficult to not get a tail strike. Maybe that is because I can't find (yet) the "air ground maneuvering switch" referred to in the posted videos. By the way, I did enjoy the videos. I have been flying low viz ILS approaches in the F-15 successfully for awhile now. Looking forward to trying in the Mirage.

Went back to 1.5.3 I had a few issues with 1.5.4 so I went back the 1.5.3 until they can get things fixed. Now I can "ok" out of the controller settings window with getting the never ending black screen and my TrackIR is now working again. The only thing is the Mirage will not track straight on takeoff. But, ED will get it sorted out I am sure. Overall a wonderful simulator. On another note, I live in Las Vegas and I am quite impressed with NTTR. Oh yes, I am a corporate pilot so I am seeing a lot of this from the air. What I am allowed to see that is. Great job ED

Screen goes Black for me too I had this problem for a week or so in 2.0 but it resolved itself. Now, after running the current update in 1.5, my screen goes black after I press okay when assigning or modifying my inputs. Additionally, in 1.5, my mouse is active in the F1 view even though the TrackIr is on. Also, my TrackIr no longer responds properly when the mouse is active. I ran a repair but it changed nothing. 2.0 works normally and the TrackIr tracks normally as well. I looked everywhere I can think of but no luck. Any thought would be appreciated. Windows 7.0 by the way. Thanks.:badmood:

Since I live in, and fly out of, Las Vegas, I enjoy NTTR very much. Is it perfect in it's representation? No. But what ED has given us is of excellent quality with enough mission building opportunities to keep a new simmer like me very busy. I could start navigating just using familiar landmarks right away. I am never lost. I say thanks to ED and keep up the good work.

I am looking forward to this. Thanks for taking on this much needed (for me at least) training module.
