  1. Hi ebabil, Recommend this: http://www.dell.com/ed/business/p/dell-s2240t/pd Download the respective profile for the DCS module you intend to fly from here: http://captzeen.com/helios/profiles.asp All instructions are included in each profile. That's it!
  2. Sounds like this could be a bad connection somewhere. I recently fixed a very similar issue which in the end turned out to be a faulty monitor cable. Just an idea, but it might be worth you giving this a try - move the cable connections in and out of the ports a few times - don't forget to do the ports on the monitors as well - this may clear a poor connection. Either swop the cables around (assuming the connection types are the same) or if not, replace the cables with new ones. Fingers crossed!
  3. Brilliant - glad you got it sorted
  4. Just to add to what DeepDrummer has put so well, I have put labels on all my USB cables and their respective USB ports so they can never get mixed up if ever I need to remove them.
  5. Did you remember to change the settings in DCS to reflect your new screen resolution
  6. Hi Cowboy10uk, A good reply... Nice to see a fellow West Midlander on here - I'm near Wolverhampton. Just wondering... you obviously enjoy CaptZeen's profiles, are you aware there is another one coming out soon! http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=171040
  7. What problems are you having? They all work with DCS 1.5 and 2.0
  8. GREAT tutorial, arguably one of the best I've ever watched on any module (and I've watched quite a few)... you have a very natural presentation style making for a very enjoyable and informative video. I have already shared this link with my friends who also think it is simply brilliant. Please do more soon!
  9. Here's a good place to start... [ame] [/ame] [ame] [/ame] Enjoy!
  10. Soooo proud of my wife! Hahahahahahaha :megalol:
  11. Might be 'old' news then... but still nice to look at great images!
  12. Now, this is one beautiful bird - the A10-C of course :D http://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/4014/in-her-spare-time-she-rides-horses-for-work-she-flies-an-a-10-warthog
  13. Hi Art-J, ah right.. I know quite a few just use the in-game settings. I'm probably in the minority when I say I really like TARGET. Just wondered how others might have set there Warty's up... I'm sure someone will be along soon... thanks anyway
  14. This one is for fellow Warty owners... Just setting my trim up... How have you got the trim programmed? (pulse on press or press(on press) / release (on release)?
  15. do you mean physical switches and buttons or virtual ones like those in the cockpit?
  16. Yes, thanks. I had already found that information but it wasn't until you mentioned the values that I realised my mistake. It's all good now. Once again many thanks!
  17. Hi SkateZilla, The Man! :smartass: Thank you so much - spot on mate!
  18. Cummon Guys, Over 70 views / no replies? Maybe I've made this sound more complicated than was actually intended? In essence, I just want to know if the gear UP indicators always come on together? Under normal circumstances, when you take-off and raise the gear lever, all three UP lights come on but what happens if one or more wheels fails to retract properly? I've tried to deliberately damage the gear to see if this affects the way the three lights behave (like in other planes) but so far, they have all come on together. (maybe they're not programmed to work independently? :book: :book: :book:
  19. Hi Guys, I'm working on a Helios profile for this module... I have found the argument numbers for two of the gear indicators ('diagonal line' and 'down') but I can't find one for the 'up' indicator I'm wondering if the developers have simply linked the 'up' indicators to the gear lever so they come on when the lever is in the 'up' position? However, this would mean all three 'up' indicators would always come on together even if one or more wheels had failed to retract. So, fingers crossed someone may know if there is a specific argument number for the 'up' indicators? Alternatively, those with more Sabre flight time than myself might be able to say whether the three 'up' indicators always come on together or whether they do work independently?
  20. Hi somme1, Thanks for that - appreciated
  21. Noticed this label on the fascia of the accelerometer - Anyone know if this is linked to anything else or is it always there?
  22. Brilliant - thank you very much
  23. I would like to be the first to congratulate you on your first attempt - well done. I'm downloading your 'how to' guide and very much looking forwarding to reading it - thanks for sharing
  24. I want to toggle two hidden panels in a Helios profile depending upon whether DCS loads a ramp or runway start. I would prefer not to use any of the switches or values obtainable directly from the cockpit e.g. battery state, engine rpm etc Does anyone know if DCS sends any data which I might be able to use - ideally something with an argument number and values for each start mode?
