I wonder if my PC will be able to run this...(P4 3.0 GHz, 2 MB RAM, 7600GT) Anyway, why can´t you release the mod now Grandsurf, and then patch it or release a newer verison when more is done? Everyone wants to have a hand on this, and we know you are working on BS now, and don´t have enough time to do both. A betaverison of Ground Pounder is released, and I can´t understand why you can´t do the same. We are all known to patching games I think...:music_whistling:

Grandsurf: I know you gotta work on BS and I think they have found themself a VERY talented boy. Just make sure you get good paid for it! :) Unfortunatly doing your talent on BS makes the time for release of the Lock On mod longer... Here is my suggestion: Release the mod as the state you have it. Make it modman compatible so people can easily uninstall it when you release newer verisions. I know it is not finished, but the stuff you have made so far is big enough for us to explore and test. If we all could play the mod the state it is in, it would also be easier for you when we report bugs etc. A lot of players can spot things you almost never thought of. As in every game releases, there is always a patch and I suggest you release it now and patch it when you get more to add to the mod. :D:thumbup:

I canґt find any news on your mod there Grandsurf. What happened to the release you schedueled couple of weeks ago? How far are you from releasing it? Month, weeks or days? We canґt wait! :) Would have been good to knew approximately when it will be released! (Before christmas I hope!) :joystick:

How do you speed up grabbed fraps footage recorded at half speed in Vegas? And how do you sync the video with sound? When you import the video in vegas, all scenes is at half speed. How to speed up just the video and not sound? It is less fps demanding to fraps in half speed? Never thought of that!

I saw a video on Youtube today and someone managed to show the pilots head while flying! (You could see his head moved and the mask etc.) How? Would be useful to use to check your six, but when I press control + F2 I only see my own plane from outside. And what is natural head movement?

Woundn´t be cool to have a G-belt or something connected to the USB? The G-belt should support many flightsims like Lock On. So, the next time you are in a dogfight online, you or your opponent could pass out! Whould have been real cool, but would never ever go pass the "CE" test! hehe :) Friday, I want my friends and myself to dogfight (4 planes against each other) with realistic G effect in Lock On. I bet many screens will go black! :)

I have noticed something. I recorded a track with texture and scenery on medium settings. I want to give it high setting to both for making video, but I could not select high settings when I opened the track in mission editor! How come? And is there any solution to it? I sometimes select medium on both when flying online with friends to get more fps, and then select high setting while making video. Guess I have to fly online with high on both to get threes and such in the video. (Threeshader mod etc).

BTW: I have the ground pounder mod and haven´t noticed so much difference in fps between standard and ground pounder. Is the mod more fpsdemaning or is it fps friendly? (larger textureareas or something I red).

I want it NOW! :pain::cry_2::worthy: Could you upload the mod now, and then make the changes and realease like a "patch" later? I feel you are a perfectionist hehe..:music_whistling::)

Thanx. I feel we are flying better now than Training Day 1. And that is only a couple of weeks! BUT: I feel we are waaaaay behind virtual Blue Angels! hehe...Anyway, we fly and how lots of fun, thatґs the best part! It can be late at night, and I laughed of myself the other day, going to the bathroom to get rid of some coffee and coke...I washed my hands, and looked straight at my self wearing my Track IR cap with the trackclip attached. "My god, what the heck am I doing home a saturday night" when I returned back to the beautyful LOMAC world and my friends! :)

Another tip: If you use fraps and the "half size resolution" options the resolution I have when grabbing half the size is 650X512 I think. If you set that resolution in Vegas you will not lose any resolution. Of course you can set a higher resolution, but it will interpolate or something I think. I actually tried to output a video to DVD resolution and I was surpriesed of the qualityh even if the grabbed resolution was 650X412!

I use XVid codec and choose insane quality. I use MP3 128 for sound and got 80MB for my last movie who lasted almost 10 minutes. I use fraps and half size and the resolution is 650X512 I think. I have K-lite codec pack btw.

I have TekaTeka´s threemod. I want the threes to be visible at all distances if possible but now, I only see them pop up in front of me when I fly low enough. What to change to avoid threes popping up?

Last night I tried to join the RAF server via Hyperlobby. I got a 40 ms ping on the server (I am located in Norway) and thought this was good. Once loaded into the server, I started to tax and the plane in front of me dances like crazy. I think the plane was all over due to lag or something, but that is strange when I got 40 ms on the server. Anyway, I line up with the runway, and everything freeze...I need to restart my comp. The strange thing, when me and two of my friends fly, we do not use dedicated server. One of us host the game and it runs great! No lag! Also, I got a little confused...I select a side and I see I can fly everything from flanker to A-10..The same for the other side. Now I donґt know what plane to shoot down...Really confusing. The briefing didnґt help ether. Can someone fly with me online a guide me through? I really want to enjoy it, but lag and confusingness is not helping... Btw: I started up iL2 1946 instead and there was NO lag whatsooever end the game ran flawlessy! And when I was russian I shoot down germans so that was not confusing! :)

I am definitly sure ED should take Grandsurf into their team. He is no doubt talented! :thumbup: BTW: We have had no answer regarding release date and fps hit. Will it be ready to download before christmas or not? And how much will the mod affect fps?

Very nice! :thumbup: Can I install them using Modman or do I have to do it manually as you described? I have some SU-27 skins isntalled via Modman. Do I need to uinstall these before installing your skin? Will some be replaced if I don´t?

Nice flying dude, but get rid of infobar and labels. And those "guidelines", it would be more impressive if you fly without them! :) And personally, I donґt like that cheesy dance tracks, try find som good old trance instead! :)
