  1. I'm no expert, but two simple things is 1 - turn so the missile is coming towards you on your 9 or 3 o' clock. Makes the missile spend more energy charing you, and 2 - dive to make the missile chasing you correct itself into the ground.
  2. Yes. Windows 7. I got it working though after running the .net framework fixer twice. Didn't notice any difference between the runs and rebooted both times. The app is a gem by the way. Great work!
  3. I'm getting the same issue, can't click the Size and Position function.
  4. That sounds like exactly what I'm lookibg for. Thanks!
  5. It seems as if the game does not like going there when you start from far away. Steps to reproduce: 1. Place A-10C at about Batumi. 2. Place waypoint at about Anapa. 3. Offmap/B1 Really weird. Am I the only one getting this?
  6. Right, sorry. https://www.dropbox.com/s/rfw1fpe01p5q6n7/Offmap.trk?dl=0
  7. So, in a mission, seemingly all of a sudden my plane starts acting up. In the lower left corner of the hud is blinking "OFFMAP/B1" and in the right data block the steerpoint distance to go is followed by a blinking "/XXX". To ad insult to injury, the CCIP mode for the gun also stops working. So I turn back to base figuring I messed something up but after five-ten minutes, everything goes back to normal. Weird. So just out of curiosity, I fly back again and when I get close to where the problem started, it goes off again. This is right by Anapa so I'm guessing it has nothing to do with beeing in uncharted territory?
  8. I'm having problems with this aswell. I realize this is probably not the right place to ask since my issues are with opening ports and not DCS. For this I apologize in advance but I'm not a wiz when it comes to this and don't even know where to start looking for answers. I have a Netgear WNDR3700 and when I try to create a new Custom Service for port forwarding I get a message saying "This IP adress should be in the same subnet as the LAN IP adress." when I enter my IP-adress. I have no idea what this means and what steps to take next. Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated :) Cheers!
  9. Two years later and I'm wondering the same thing :D Any solutions?
  10. Jams their irony radar, geez. Note: The writer of this post is kidding. The humor of choice is sarcasm. Sarcasm is "a sharp, bitter, or cutting expression or remark; a bitter gibe or taunt." Sarcasm may employ ambivalence, although sarcasm is not necessarily ironic. "The distinctive quality of sarcasm is present in the spoken word and manifested chiefly by vocal inflections". The sarcastic content of a statement will be dependent upon the context in which it appears. The type of humour used in this post could also be described as satire or satirical. Note that although satire usually is meant to be humorous, its greater purpose is often constructive social criticism, using wit to draw attention to both particular and wider issues in society. 11. This is some great stuff. Thanks J-Dawg!
  12. Hi all! I'm using the grey slider on the TM HOTAS as zoom (like many others), however, the center position of the slider is not the default zoom i get when I start the mission. When I touch the slider it quickly zooms in a bit. If I want to go to the same FOV/Zoom as I had on mission start, I have to move the slider a bit back. Is this a common thing and is there any solution to it? Cheers!
  13. Atalia, bummer. That's one advantage of the GBU-12 then I guess.
  14. Yo! Sometimes when when I'm out flying on missions, I get hit into emergency conditions. I get my CICU shot up and I have to flee, because I can't tell any of my sensors to drop a SPI. MFCDs are black, my TGP is down. If only I could drop a JDAM in this town. Now, I know they ain't gonna hit like Cupid if I drop them like they're stupid. It's telling me to use the CCRP, but since I'm full of holes that's ain't an option for me. Now is there any way that I can drop a JDAM you see, using nothin' but the CCIP? Y'all with me? Say B.R.R.R.T! B.R.R.R.T! When I say J you say DAM! J!
  15. I'm having serious problems controlling aircraft that start as Uncontrolled. I set them up with a trigger and get them started, but when they are started I can not issue any commands, the command tab in the F10 map isn't there for units that start as Uncontrolled. Am I missing something? Cheers!
  16. Both Druid_ and xcoms solutions work. Thanks alot guys!
  17. Hi! I have a mission set up where the player is to provide CAS for a moving convoy that is driving On Road along set waypoints at 40mph. The player has the ability to stop and resume the convoy via F10 radio command. However, when the convoy is resumed they move very slow (11 mph) and they don't follow the normal Move On Road-type of formation. It is as if the lead vehicle is driving in some kind of combat off road mode on the road and the rest whenever the lead vehicle turn the convoy start to turn off the road to keep the line formation.¨ I have it set up like this: Triggers: 1. Mission Start > Group Alive (Player group) > Radio Item Add "Start Convoy" Flag 1 Value 1. 2. Mission Start > Group Alive (Player Group) > Radio Item Add "Stop Convoy" Flag 1 Value 2. 3. Continous Action > Flag Equals (Flag 1 Value 1) > Group Resume (Convoy Group) 4. Continous Action > Flag Equals (Flag 1 Value 2) > Group Stop (Convoy Group) Is there any other way to do this that does not make the convoy snail forward after the Resume command is given? Cheers!
  18. Solved it by removing my Saved Games folder :) Thanks anyways though! Cheers.
  19. Yes, exactly, so what I need to do is to just restore the mapping to its original state. Any insights to how I would go about such an adventure without the ability to load a profile?
  20. Hi all! I have the Thrustmaster HOTAS, I used the standard profile that is hidden in the game files and all is well. Except for the flaps. When I started it up first time I was already in flight and thought that the flaps weren't mapped (of course, it was because I was going to fast). I remapped them without thinking but couldn't find any settings for "up/mvr/dn" so I mapped them so that the "dn" is "flaps down" and "up" is "flaps up". But that kind of feels wrong, so I just wanted to check if the flaps switch is supposed to work with "up/mvr/dn"? If so, how can I map it so? I can not reload the profile as there seems to be some glitch with my game, clicking "load profile" does nothing. Cheers!
  21. It's in the game settings on the first page, can't remember of the top of my head but there should be one that shows "DCS Screen Server" or something like that as selected, change that to "1 screen".
  22. I stand corrected! It has nothing to do with firing the gun. Now I absolutely made the plane as heavy as I could and put some g's to it, snapped the wing clean off. It seems as if the wing does not snap only by heavy g's, it seems as if it's dependant on how quickly those g's are applied to the wings. Thanks alot for your help guys! Sorry for beeing stubborn.
  23. You are right, my interpretation of max load is max takeoff load I guess. No, not always the same load.
  24. Well, as I said, the plane was far from max load. I've been trying to snap a wing of but have been unable to do so, unless it's in combination with firing the gun. It feels more like a bug to me.
  25. Hey I got it! Wun't dat 'ard. Thanks so much for the help guys!
