  1. Hi Just a suggestion: Would be fun if the Huey, for example, would be available to race in the Batumi track on the server. Thanks
  2. Starting on battery in DCS can really get tricky after a few attempts or with a not "new" Huey. On chickenhawk, Mason writes a lot about them staying over night in a field waiting to go back to the LZ to pickup the troops. So how they didn't encounter any problems? Did they have bigger capacity batteries? An extra external battery? DCS is to harsh? or am I just missing something? I sure wouldn't want to stay the night, in a field in the middle of Vietnam, with the DCS Huey "Battery starting capability". Just to be clear, I'm not suggesting any criticism on the DCS Huey, just very curious on real life operation with only on-board battery. much obliged
  3. Exactly what I was thinking, although a radial engine helicopter would be a blast!

  5. I truly recommend you read this part of the manual first. It will be easier to understand and explain. Trying to lean the basic through the forum is the "hard way".
  6. completely agree with no. 4, you have to take it easy with the Mi-8. If I may add my 2 cent advice: Most important thing is to watch the VSI very closely and not let it drop below 5 m\s. Yet always remember that it is very slow instrument to react, you may be in real trouble descending while the VSI is still showing you in good rate of descent. When the doppler comes on at low speed, I follow the descent rate on it instead of the barometric VSI. And for all helos I recommended a warthog extension, as helicopter control is all about finesse.
  7. Very simply put, press "R" which moves the Descent—Route switch on the collective to Route mode. Make sure the flight director is off.
  8. Taxi Love that finally we have taxiway signs and lights, and basically high res. airports, maybe we will get some real ground ATC to go with it. Great stream yesterday, can't wait for DCS2. Thank you ED!
  9. Hi The ESS BUS is not the reason, it is just a selector to switch the reading on the DC voltmeter. Maybe the repair fixed it, since it looks more of a key binding issue than you doing something wrong.
  10. love it How about the mission loading time!! It took less than 2 seconds! And can we get an official comment on the F—5E WIP? That was a shocker (a nice one) ;)
  11. LOL It is actually GPU not APU:smilewink: I hope we always fly with our APU...
  12. download it from here:http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/modules/?PAGEN_1=2 Then on the first mission you start, put in your serial when the authorization window pops.
  13. Had a Strange ending to a mission today. Flying the "Presents" Mission, while enroute to the target, my Su-25T suddenly exploded for no good reason. I've checked the track and Tacview (both included) to confirm I was not hit by anything. Would love a explanation if this is a bug or I did something wrong. The bang in 9:42 minutes into the mission. Thanks P.S. Ignore the bad piloting Tacview-20150613-140121-DCS.trk Tacview-20150613-140121-DCS.txt.rar
