Hey Art-J Sorry to bring up an old thread, but can you (or someone else) test it again on 1.5.4. Did some testing and it looks like it is back to the way it was (the era of 1.2.15-ish, as you called it). On 2.0 the "problem" remains. Can someone confirm this? Thank you

I'm sure it's not. :) Since it is a Sensor and weapon trainer, probably there is no cockpit, external model, flight model, etc. That is why I added the note that I was just having fun and not really thinking it is viable (though keeping my fingers crossed...:music_whistling:).

So the A-10C DTT became a DCS module, I wouldn't mind seeing a DCS: AC-130U... :music_whistling: Note: no need to take this seriously, I'm just having fun. :pilotfly:

I didn't complain about the starter switch, I have asked what is the right placement of the switch after startup (and corrected my self that it is a different variant).

I have to say that on the youtube videos I see, the starter switch positions are labeled differently and it is manipulated differently. Instead of VENT-OFF-ON it is OFF-ON-IGN, so you go to top position (IGN) on startup and down to middle position (ON) after. Maybe it is a different variant\engine. (Edit: after looking at some more cockpit photos, there is a different in the starter switch between the SA342M and some other variants). I really don't know what is right or wrong, I'm just curious.

Hey Charly Thanks for another great guide. :thumbup: A few thoughts: - Page 43, paragraph 11: I don't know about the real Gazelle, but in DCS: Gazelle turing off the starter after engine start will lead to engine shutdown on autorotation simulation; once you pull back on the fuel lever the engine will die instead of staying on 25,000 RPM (and I saw you left it ON in your autorotation movie:music_whistling:). - Page 74, paragraph 16: The term "Lock" is a bit incorrect in my opinion, plus the white rectangle does not depends on the manual lasing and is not a lock symbol but a launch authorization. - Page 86, paragraph 2: The PANNE light does not appear on the NADIR startup. Hi According to page 27 of the NADIR manual (Startup procedure), the PANNE light should display for 70s on initializing when selecting the VEILLE position. But every time I start the NADIR I only get the AIR, ERR and NAV lights; the only time I get the PANNE light is on the ground test mode (TEST SOL). Is it a manual mistake, a module problem or am I doing something wrong? Thanks, P.S. What are the GEL and PILE lights I see on the Visual test (AUX+5)?
