Thanks Max Thought it had to be something

After doing a carrier landing in multiplayer, I then asked for launch. After takeoff, the plane just wanted to dive into the sea. I couldnt trim no matter how much i applied. Any help on this or is it a case of restart every mission?

Is this fabulous mod just for 2.7, as the throttle, flaps etc will not work in stable 2.5. I re checked my bindings just in case. Using thrustmaster t16000m setup. I can hear the engine spool up but no throttle movement.

After Carrier Landing, Cannot Use Autopilot???

Well, I can have a go but not sure why I have to do it like that. I hope if it is a small bug, it gets sorted sometime in the future. Cheers -
Many thanks IronMike and to the rest of you for giving me confidence in this. I will crack it as I have with other modules but she is a beast. Cheers Guys

Thought I would try the Auto Carrier Landing to see how it feels. Set it up, then decided to land her normally. After connecting to the CAT for takeoff, I noticed the Landing Check light still on. I also had to use RShift + U to get the CAT to operate. While in the air, I couldn't use Altitude Autopilot. Is there a way to reset it so I can get AP/Ref back or is this a bug? Landed at airfield and still Landing Check light stayed on.

Thanks so much for all your input. There is always one plane that causes a slight problem and it's the F14. Everything on this plane is a doddle apart from the A2A. I think as has been said that your viewpoint is crucial. I do find myself leaning over to the right as the basket is hidden from view. I will try lowering my seat a bit and see how that goes. Also going to have a look at my curve settings and lessen them. Cheers

Hey Spike Yeah, I make sure I am in bomb mode. I trimmed but found it difficult to get the plane steady in position to hook up to the drogue. I haven't had this problem with harrier or hornet but this might be due to shorter wingspan etc. I think a lot of practice with varying curves. Thanks for info

Thanks for that buddy

Been trying to get this right for a while now. Other modules are easier for me but was wondering what deadzone and curve settings have you guys found to be just right. I find that I drift into PIO if not careful. Watched Maverick video and found that very helpful. Using t16000m hotas Cheers

Many thanks Megalax. I understand how difficult it is when trying to ask a question and making it so that many understand. I will hop over to the link you have and take a look, and thanks for the chart. Cheers

I remember there was a mod to add your callsign but I think it is now kaput. Will we ever be able to have a selection of Callsigns to add better emmersion to the sim?

I have had this problem for a while now. I place my planes to a numbered slot, save it and run the mission only to find the planes have been moved. I keep changing the numbers until I find they are now in the correct parking slots. Is this a bug or do i have to keep sorting the park numbers until they start in their correct parking slots? This can be a pain when I have multiple groups of planes. Cheers

Thanks for help guys. Megalax, it can be very difficult when trying to post certain questions. Im new to skinning and just wanted to know where you aquire these things to add to your skins. I realise it can be a pain sometimes

Can anyone help me with any good links to images I can use with Gimp? Looking for good RAF stuff to add to my own skins. Cheers

Cheers Exorcet Will have a look at that. Hope I can get it working

Thanks dark wood. I thought that would be the case. You dont happen to know which triggers I should look at or direct me to? Cheers

I would be looking at 30meg 4G. They say the signal strength is good in our area. I am still hoping for my broadband to be fixed on Thursday as I need to port forward still. The broadband has been fault free for the last 10 years until last December and its been getting worse ever since. We know it is to do with their equipment so all they need to do is pull their fingers out and get it sorted.

I created a mission with 2 Client Hornets and then created 2 AI groups to follow. I gave them individual group names and when in flight found that I could not communicate with them. Will the AI only work if they are part of my group or can I give them individual group radio frequencies? Am I trying too much? It would be nice to be able to direct the groups to different targets and formations etc.

Thanks guys for the info. Looked at starlink but maybe a little too expensive yet. Had an engineer come round today and found multiple errors so had to arrange for another visit, this time to work on their end to hopefully fix it. At least I know that if I had to use 4G, I should be able to connect to my brother who is on superfast broadband. Many Thanks

Hi All My broadband has been playing up over the last few months and have had huge problems updating and connecting to multiplayer. I am hoping that tomorrow might bring a fix, but if I am not lucky, I might have to consider the mobile network route. As I am in the UK and rural, my choices are limited to BT 4G so my question is, will this connect to the DCS server? I have also seen in multiplayer, connect with IP. Would it be possible to connect to my brother if he is hosting a multiplayer mission? I am pulling what's left of my hair out and my options are getting squeezed. I know that the 4G hub has UPnP but it seems every one has the same IP address so it would make sense for me to connect to them and not the other way round. I'm not sure if this will suffice unless I can allow the ports to be opened by my firewall. Any ideas or help would be great

Hi All My broadband has gone tits up and had to get many engineers out to try and fix it. Now we are letting it settle but my speeds have dropped off. I can Multiplay OK, but my worry is with the big downloads for the next Stable Update. My brother has the same setup and install as myself and I was wondering if he could download it onto a USB for me to install if my speeds do not increase?? It will take forever as the latest update was downloading at 192KB. If this is not possible, I will have to leave it on for a week or two LOL Cheers
