  1. Bitmaster, Yes, I noticed one there. Someone mentioned they had problems and didn't get a refund after sending it back. Might be an idea to buy them seperately if all fails. Cheers
  2. Hi All My brother has become a true DCS fan and after using a low end trackir, he wants to get trackir 5 like mine. I purchased mine ages ago from RC Simulations. I messaged them about stock but haven't heard anything. Not sure if they are still trading. Does anyone know of a reputable seller with good reviews? I have done a few searches without real success.
  3. Got a slight problem with the Harrier and would love some help. I must be doing something wrong as the Hornet is a dream. I put it in NAV Mode and select DATA and make sure it is in WPT. I set the waypoints with The Way and when I proceed to Transfer, I get bizarre waypoints. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be great.
  4. WoW what a mod. Absolutely fantastic, sound etc. So much to learn. Only problem I need answering is : - Do I need to input my IP address into the Net Lua file as with the Hercules mod? My brother and I can fly it, but not synced. Watched the Grim Reapers video but when I read the manual, it mentioned the Net Lua insert. Cheers
  5. Set up multiplayer bombing mission with F18C AI support. Set to release all bombs over target but everytime, they are left with 3 bombs on one pylon. Anyone have the same experience? When I have time, I will add a Track to this.
  6. Trying to get submarines to fire at tankers but with no luck. Tried Fire at Point etc but they just stop. The only time a sub will fire is if there is a destroyer close by. Should I have the WW2 Assets Pack or Combined Arms to make them work?
  7. This is similar to my problem except that when a player tries to hook up, he bounces and that's it. Locks up
  8. Not sure if this is the right place for this but I have experienced this problem for a while. Hosting a carrier mission for 2 players, I hook up on Catapult OK. The next player moves up and then bounces and after that cannot move. I got the other player to host just in case my internet was playing up but then I experienced the same thing when trying to hook up for takeoff. I tried it in the Caucasus with no problems at all. Has this been reported or is there something else going on? Cheers

  10. Not sure if its possible, but is there a line in the lua file to get the subs to surface properly? I tested most of them and they dive great but on surfacing, they do not return to the level they were at and so there is no Wake from bow or stern. Cheers

  12. Sorry to be a pain but like Avgeekjoe, with the latest update, do I need to download just 2.8? Also, do we replace the Wake Lod files etc again or have they been updated as well. Cheers

  15. After doing a repair of DCS. Just performed a test with all subs and noticed that these subs have their missiles hovering above them :- USS Dallas, USS Pheonix, SSK Agosta, HMS Vanguard, Los Angeles Class, also Jang Bogo had a missile through the hull. With these as well, I experienced DCS not responding and had to reboot. All the others worked fine. There was also Typhoon.lods.ship_wake file not in the shapes folder, is this correct?
  16. Thats great. I might do a repair just in case. Do I still need to download the updated Wake files etc or are they in the mods themselves? Looking forward to new stuff when added. Cheers
  17. I think the subs are great. Shame they wont turn with added waypoints. And one of the subs has lost all its textures but I will look into that. My only problem is that when I have added a sub to my mission, I cannot end the mission and have to stop dcs through windows manager. Is this because I am using the stable version?
  18. Thanks for getting in touch. I dont have the Assets Pack just the free Flak. I just tried using triggers and have had some success. So will work on that until I buy the Pack. Cheers
  19. Hope someone can help or point me in the right direction. I have used the Flak 18 in a few missions before but since last Stable update, no matter how I set the Flak up, they don't fire at the aircraft. I have set the new Min and Max heights etc and still nothing. Only got them to work once but that was hit and miss. Is there a current problem with them or is this due to update? Will they only work with WW2 planes?
  20. Been away for a while and notice that a few others are having similar problems. Lets hope it settles down and starts to play ball. I might just get it on track and when I am about 2 miles out, land it manually. All my attempts have been fairly calm and also with 6 knots wind, always does the same thing.
  21. Using stable version latest update. Everything working fine until the last moment when she is just a little high and misses the wires to Bolter. All operations are fine. Tried three attempts then landed manually. Not sure if this is already being looked at or fixed for next update.
  22. This started happening after the latest update to Stable. I have tried multiple positions for cats when hosting but when player joins and hooks up, as soon as that happens, he springs in the air and bursts into flames. I have only been using the F18 so not sure about other planes. I will be checking later. Tried mission with just my plane and everything worked fine.
  23. Just updated to latest Stable version. Placed a heavy in ME and tried to add more but nothing happens. Any info would be great.
  24. Couldnt agree more. Multiplayer is now much more better. The sync has made a huge difference when flying with friends.
