Thanks for the help, I've managed completing this mission with success. I can confirm that the georgian SU25 don't help very much but they manage to kill the manpads. The most difficult part was to get the trucks but with the help of superspotter/wingmen it's easier. Now I'm on the 3rd part of the mission :) (I've done some screenshots but need some work before posting as my TAD also captured (2 monitor setup).)

Just install the HD texture mod it will be much better :)

To get the slew working ok on X55 you have to use the saitek software. Set the configuration of the slew nipple with "Range" mode. With this mode X and Y axis are devided in 3 range. First X range (33%) is left (bind it to the correct key defined in DCS for HOTS slew left), second range is left blank and last range is bound to right key. same thing for Y axis and it will work perfectly.

Hi there, I made my 5th attempt for hammerfall 2 (Mission 5) yesterday evening and I've got a problem. I keep getting shot by a SAM at the first camp even if I'm a 19000ft which is normally high enough to avoid all threat. Am I missing something there ?

Ok. What are you settings ? your GTX770 has 2 or 4GB of VRAM ? if 2 check that your VRAM is not full (I think there's a tool for nvidia card to know that) that may be the problem. Just lower a bit the details and it should be ok. /just another guess...

Just check your performance monitor to see if you've got the same problem as me : System processe taking more and more memory after each mission

Edited. Don't know why but after each mission in DCS "System" Process takes more and more memory

Had the same problem... My System process was taking 3GB of RAM. A reboot and System process is back to a few MB and no more frame drop (Win10) Each time DCS is taking a while to launch and I experience frame drops, I just reboo and that's ok. Don't know why but with a reboot, it's perfect (same kind of gear as yours i5-3570, 8GB RAM and R9 290X)

type 38T send left button of the CDU (3rd button from the top) In order to succeed this campaign, you really need to learn the CDU with the previously provided videos...

Check the 38T coordinate not 37T otherwise you'll be very far from the targert

Sorry, I didn't understand your answer. Will I be provided with options to re-fly missions next time I'll fly the campaign ? At the end of the campaign ? Otherwise I will just do the whole campaign again later, no problem :D

Made this mission yesterday and no rpoblem like that. My problem is that the trucks escaped (tried to get them with my mav but couldn't get a lock on them... and by the time I decided to go to bombing they vanish). In the debrief it says that I killed the boss in the truck even if I did not... I landed safely so mission was successful, is there a way to do it again anyway ?

Be careful that this workaround works great for TGP but it makes DCS loading time x2 longer and there is lots of FPS drop ! But yes, it works nice

I just finished mission 3, that was great fun. Problem : I was too far to ask Uzi their position, and again, and after 2 attempt, the option is no more available. It should be cool to have first a "contact" option before asking for their position. But really, great fun to fly a somewhat realistic mission :)

Tried first mission, got shot down by the SAM cause I've turned off RWR because of the F16 pinging me at the beginning :O Seems to work so far, will try again tonight I hope.

I'll give it a try even if I'm busy with Tactical Training and Ennemy within :)

You should really buy the training missions from Maple Flag to learn all that (Advanced Training and Tactiacl Training, the Basic Training should be already known but it's kinda fun :) ) But I agree, I'm on mission 3 either and it was hard to find the targets, thanks baltic for the campaign and for the tip regarding ground texture, much more easier !
