I'm not sure what I did wrong in mission 1, but after I ended the mission I got a "Campaign Defeat" prompt. I started the plane, formed up on the Commanders wing and then returned to the airfield when I was told to??? Did I miss something?

I keep running into the issue of the campaign reverting back too far after I fail a mission. I last failed mission 6 and the campaign wanted me to fly mission 5 again.

After checking the Tacview, it appears I was recognised as dead even though I managed to bail out - I'd say that is what happened. Still doesn't explain why I was reverted back to mission 2 though. Nevertheless I just simply played mission 2 for 10mins, followed by mission 3 for 10mins, and now I'm back to where I should be - ready to start mission 4. Thanks for the help, Reflected. I sure hope you have something like this campaign in the works for the P-51 :thumbup:

Wow is this campaign immersive! Outstanding job, Reflected. Only issue I have encountered is I recently flew mission #3 (with the B-17's). I flew to the rendezvous point and my flight was engaged by 190's. I managed to down one of them, but then I got hit myself, engine caught fire, and I bailed out. I quit the mission, but the campaign wont let me advance to mission #4 - instead it wants me to fly mission #2 again???

FWIW, I have only experienced this crash with the FA/18C module. The other modules work fine.

System specs are: Windows 10 64bit Intel® Core i5-4690 @ 3.5GHz 16GB RAM Inno3d GeForce GTX 1080ti So far I seem to have only experienced the issue whilst running the early access FA-18c module. Even then, one session I can fly a full hour without experiencing this issue, others I can't make it through the start-up procedure. For what it's worth, I have run other DCS modules since and have had no issues. In addition, I put my PC through a stress test to check my hardware and I experienced no problems. Logs.zip

Hi, I have been trying to play DCS the past hour or so. When I first start DCS all is fine, then after a few minutes my computer reboots without warning. This only happens while playing DCS World. I have attached a log file that I was able to find. UPDATE: This seems to be the issue when I browse Event Viewer, ERROR: handle_resolve_request bad interfaceIndex 6 service_log.txt

I noticed in one of the recordings that Wags mentioned that the HUD was in a "caged" mode and the total velocity vector wasn't showing true. In what situation do hornet pilots cage the HUD so the velocity vector doesn't show true?

$80 is a good price for a study level simulation. The PMDG airliners cost $135 for the 747-400 and $135 for the 777.

Given how much some things cost for airliner sims (the PMDG airliners cost $130), I think the FA/18 is priced quite accurately.

Yep, particularly if you plug in the A/B a lot. Looked as though he was full A/B for a lot of that video. I hope A/A refuelling will be easier in the Hornet than the A-10C, given the FBW system.

Even though it was an 8hr+ download, it's pretty awesome to fly over Vegas and land an F-15 at Nellis AFB! :pilotfly: So happy!
